I finally got from british council concerning my remark request for my IELTS academic writing test. My score increased from band 6 to 7. The Nigerian accessors at IELTS british council need to do better. My EOR was needlessly delayed for almost a month and released on the 4th of January, since 7th December, 2022, even after multiple emails and phone calls complaining about the delay. The sad part is that the attached letter from the was backdated to 16th December, 2022. Making it seem like they remarked my tests and sent me the letter on 16th December, 2022. Now I have missed several priority schools application deadlines, due to their lacklustre attitude.

The GRE will give you an edge for schools in USA. Many actually place high importance in them. But english test scores are also emphasised, especially when graduate assistantships are needed by the students.

Your comment here encouraged me to request a remark in my writing today. Hopefully it will come in with an increase in score and in due time as well. I need my writing to increase more than 6.0, as I honestly feel I did way better.

Thanks I've seen it. But from the instructions, I read it would take between 2 to 27days of waiting before result may come out. Many schools application deadlines I'm applying to ends on Dec 15. I'm worried that if I request for remark, I may miss the deadlines.
Secondly, can one use the old scores for application and then send the new official scores to schools later? If after remark and the scores are increased.

I sent them a mail this afternoon, and got my result mailed to me about 2hours later.

I also just got mine this evening, L 7.5, R 8.0, W 6.0, S 8.0. My writing score has devastated me, with many institutions wanting minimum of 6.5 across. How do I request a remark for my writing, because I really gave it my all as well?

for those who wrote on the 20th November, it ready via DHL, i think they now use 14 day counting period for those who choose CBT

i got R 6.5, L6.5 W 6.0 S 7.5 overall 6.5

but guys i can really swear that i put my strength on my writing section the most, even cross checking to see if there were errors.
i think am under marked in that section, am thinking of applying for a remark, what do you guys think

I also wrote my IELTS Academic by British council paper-based on 19th November, 2022. But till now no result yet as shown on their portal. However, they sent the result to the school I filled to receive it.

I requested to invest in secondary treasury bill the sum of N2,000,000 at a discount rate of 11% for 182days. I had a total bank balance of N2,014,139.32 and was expecting a yield of 12.359% from my calculations. I got debited and what was left in my was N121, 243.43 as balance if I remove processing fees of N2594.52.

My challenge is that over N14k is not been ed for which the bank did not give me. Because my calculations showed that I should be having about N135,134 in my bank balance.

Pls experts in the house, kindly help me calculate, perhaps I may be wrong. But I feel my bank is trying to rip me off.
