Even your loved one's despise you just because you dont have a job or you dont have money .They have now made the house where you stay unconfortable for you and you keep asking "WHY" Due to the level of hardship in the society , some youths have ed different vices like kidnapping , robbery etc. just to make a living and at the end , so many will be killed with there potentials buried with them Even the government are not helping matters as some jobs that are being created by the government are being shared by top men in the society . Now the question is "WHICH WAY FORWARD " What are the things that will help to eradicate this strange disease in the society ? Youths should learn to be self developed and avoid over reliance in government or people . We should learn t be creative and avoid having the mindset that with good result i will get a job once i graduate. As you work on how to get a good result , also work on how to be self creative as the sweet taste of a jollof rice comes from the ingredents and not the rice. Learn to aquire more skills when in school and always have a plan B about your future. Entrepreneurship centres should be established for those that wants to venture into business . People should be empowered on self development. The youths should be enlightened through seminars and workshops .Jobs should be created in order to meet up with the numerous jobless youths in the street. ..... ........... ................. Learn to utilize your opportunities when they come because opportunity lost may not be regained...and avoid that which does not add value to your life..... ........ .......MEMBER , GTI |

As i sat down on the chair in the love garden , i began to imagine how our country would look like without the youth . It would have been like an ocean that is not flowing. The society have become so corrupt that it's major casulties are the youth . And i ask " can our country survive without the youth " , i live you to answer it . The youths have been subjected to different kinds of hardship, trials and temptations . Unemployment is now a natural thing in our society . Getting a job now is like surviving in an accident . Millions of graduates are now flooding in the streets looking for job and still someone believes that WE ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW . And i ask " ARE WE TRULY THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW ? " . Every single day that es creates a problem for the unemployed . Life have become unbearable for them . They now live with the hope of a brighter future which some of them will not see. A child will be born and everybody will start jubiliating without no one asking about how the child up bringing will look like , whether the resources that will be used to train the child is available or not. The child will start schooling , he will finish nursery and enter primary with no understanding of the world. The child will enter secondary school where he or she will face challenges and after , he will manage to save some money in order to enter the university which may turn to a prison yard for him or her. Yet after all these 5 years of hurdles and sufferings , their is no job for you , instead you will them as a member of the unemployed graduates . And file becomes your wife or husband because where ever you are seen , you are always carrying a file . If graduates can be unemployed , what is now the faith of SSCE holders , those that struggled to acquire SSCE certificate. Their own problems will now be uncountable . Life have become so fustrating that even people that love you will begin to hate you . You wake up in the morning and you are been greeted by " WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" |
