This is the final stage of this world we are living in, as in end time. Celebrities and stars having babies out of wedlock and we all aplaud and praise them. That's the latest style now and unfortunately we don't see anything wrong with it. What we decry in the West is now rampant here in Nigeria and we are okay with it. Signs of the end!!! Very bad that people don't see it. But for those who care, tighten your seat belt 'cos Jesus is on His way.

Please sharrap there.
Who told you they've not done a private solemn ceremony.

Na so una go dey Carry people matter for una head.

why not quote rightly. Where in my post are we talking about South Africa? And who told you, you don't need a yellow card before you can fly? At the airport here you will be asked for it (nigeria). Are you quoting the right person?

Oga slimm are you eatwell423??

I didn't say US, I said for immigration purpose. The context here is US and not other countries.

Let's be careful not to misinform people.
This is a US student visa thread and not a migration thread to south Africa.
You don't need a yellow card both at mm2 or US poe. Students only need to get vaccines required by their school such as measles etc.

The yellow fever cert is not for school but for immigration purpose. You will need to show the cert. at the airport before or after check-in. Then you'll do the ebola screening

Not for the US bro.
This may apply to other countries.

I really don't understand how you will gain from others and the one time you can contribute so that others can gain from you, you withhold information.

That's why Nigerians don't move forward.

Thank God everybody is not like Teeraf

To others sharing their transcript please state what you said so that others can learn and reference you.

Selfish people never go far. In America especially. That is for sure.

Goodluck to everyone hitting the embassy.
Go grab that visa.

It's paramount not to give someone false hope. Ask about his profile first starting from WAEC Result before trying to bulldozer me. I thought about Partial Scholarship because I know his chances of getting it first is high if he can do well in SAT.

Bulldozer you??
Can machine bulldozer mountain??
Not possible
LOL! grin

Ok. Could you please tell him the school that will grant him full scholarship for undergraduate studies? Thanks.

My point is this.
Lets not make categorical statements unless one is extremely sure of it
Undergrads may find it hard to get full funding because they cannot assist the department as teaching or research assistants but you never know really. That alone is a huge deterring factor.

HOWEVER,
t is VERY possible to get full ride from Ivy league schools as undergrads for gifted international students. Many other honors college recipients in Universities across the US offer this to the best of the best.
These awards are for the brightest and not mediocre students or above average students especially at Undergraduate level so it's VERY dificult to acquire them except one is extremely gifted.
Doesn't mean they don't exist

The assistants are rolling in but they're kinda late. Michigan Tech just offered me a GA to cover half my tuition with salary ( stipend). Now I already have my visa with MTSU with little amount for scholarship. I'll like to know if it's possible to transfer to M. Tech without doing any semester at Middle Tennessee State

Yes please.
Update your sevis info.

Can an ission be deferred twice within a year?a friend of mine need help. Pls gurus in the house I need an answer. Thanks

This is a tricky one.
Usually different schools have different policies regarding this but generally you defer once.
Mail the grad school and ask

I got ission @ ETSU with funding and TA and I ve received my I-20. But honestly I can't afford to travel this fall due to financial issue. Pls should I go on with my visa process and defer my ission till spring after getting the visa ( can I still use same visa for spring?) or I shouldn't bother to process the visa for now and defer?

Better to defer no point wasting the validity of the F1 and unsettling your studies with renewal wahala.
But its your call. Whats the value of the TA by the way and how much is the balance.

briefty:
Please, my i-20 form will arrive anytime this week, can i go ahead and pay for the visa fee and start filling the DS-160 form?
i heard july is already booked up for interview, that i need an agent to apply for me, please how true is this information? Thank you very much for your prompt response sir/ma.(my profile graduate program-Msc fall 2015)

You heard, have you checked?
Student visas get expedited dates but can't cancel once appointed else the visa fee gets forfeited.
You cant fill the DS 160 without the sevis number and school sevis code indicated on your i20 unless you've been provided that information prior to when you receive the i20 in the mail

it is not equivalent to HND, it is equivalent to OND. With OND you can get into Junior here once your courses align with the ones to want to study.
