Why can't the government pay this subsidy to Dangote refinery directly and have the refinery supply it to Nigerians if they claim that corruption is the problem?

What stops the FG from having at least one functional refinery instead?

I'll do this if I don't have to drop my children in school or if my place of work isn't over 20km from my house or if our roads were safer! Labour should negotiate for an increase in salaries because those in the informal sector will adjust their prices to match what they buy... someone needs to take care of the unemployed, the public and private employees. Above all, we need working refineries.

@OP, NGOs and Rights groups in the state through the ministry of women affairs or get someone in the gender unit of NSCDC or even the police. These organisations have active gender desks in at least one station. Look for WARDC, UNFPA desk office or FIDA.
