One thing that affects people with social anxiety issues is that they are always aware of what people will say or think. Try and have a mindset of not giving a ratass on anyone's thoughts. Also try and be active in some social issues i.e church groups, choirs, study engagements, etc.
With time you will be better

I've not been lucky in relationships. Now I'm trying to get married and it seems all the ladies I meet have a red flag.

I created a thread on my last relationship
https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/8324668/wedding-plans-suspended-advice

My uncle referred one to me and she's subtly billing already. Saying her phone hangs and she doesn't take calls only Whatsapp. I'll call and she won't pick up and she'll say hello on Whatsapp.

I have prayed and fasted.

I just need a 25-28 yo igbo lady preferably imo state that's very reasonable

Am I the problem or is it a general thing for Nigerian women?

If she doesn't pick your calls, her number should not be in your phone s.

y’all alway rushing to help women with their problems when most of them will not touch you with a stick when you have yours. Woman are selfish if not the most selfish beings the sooner you know this the better for you

You're right. My point is that if he really loves her, and the feeling is mutual then he should do the needful. Her family's problem should not be an issue. My thoughts.

Are you struggling to shed those extra pounds while still enjoying your favorite Nigerian dishes? You're not alone. With obesity rates in Nigeria, many are finding themselves at the crossroads between traditional cuisine and health goals. The good news? You don't have to completely abandon your cultural favorites to achieve your weight loss goals.

1. Traditional Swallows
The beloved swallow dishes – pounded yam, eba, fufu, starch, and semovita – hold a special place in Nigerian cuisine. These dishes aren't just food; they're cultural touchstones that bring families together. However, their impact on weight loss deserves careful consideration.

2. Rice Varieties
Let's talk about jollof rice – the crown jewel of Nigerian cuisine. While its rich, smoky flavor makes it a favorite at celebrations and gatherings, its preparation method can make it a challenge for weight loss. Traditional jollof rice preparation involves multiple stages where calories can sneak in: the initial oil-based sauce, the absorption of oils during cooking, and often, additional oils added for that perfect finish.

Felix Nwafor, a seasoned security activist and avid reader of Top5, had seen it all when it came to the streets of Nigeria’s bustling cities. Felix decided to share his wealth of knowledge, gleaned from years of experience and countless conversations with both victims and law enforcement.

“Surviving the streets of our beautiful but sometimes treacherous cities isn’t just about luck. It’s about being smart, being prepared, and most importantly, being aware.” He said as he gave tips of survival. “Let me share most crucial tips that have kept me and countless others safe while moving through our vibrant urban landscapes,”

1. Time Your Travels Wisely

Felix’s first piece of advice resonated deeply with the group. “Avoid late hours after 9 pm and early hour movements before 6 am,” he stressed. “These are the times when the shadows grow long and the predators come out to play.” He went on to explain that criminals often take advantage of the reduced visibility and fewer witnesses during these hours.

Felix emphasized that timing isn’t just about the hour of the day but also about being aware of your surroundings. “Pay attention to events or situations that might increase risk. Football matches, political rallies, or even heavy rainfalls can create opportunities for criminals.” By being mindful of these factors, travelers can significantly reduce their chances of becoming targets.

2. Keep a Low Profile

“Now, let’s talk about appearance,” Felix continued, his eyes scanning the attentive faces around him. “In our cities, flashy items are like beacons to thieves. It’s crucial to avoid wearing expensive jewelry or displaying valuables when you’re in transit.” He recounted the story of a friend who learned this lesson the hard way.

Did you know that iron deficiency is one of the most common nutritional challenges globally, yet Nigeria’s vibrant cuisine offers delicious solutions?

In this deep dive, we spotlight the top five most iron-dense Nigerian foods, backed by cultural relevance and nutritional science. Whether you’re a health enthusiast or simply curious about boosting your iron intake, these foods are both accessible and integral to Nigeria’s culinary heritage.

1. Spinach
Spinach, locally known as efo tete in Yoruba, is a powerhouse of iron and a staple in Nigerian households.

2. Liver (Beef or Chicken)
Nigerian liver dishes are celebrated not just for their rich taste but also for their exceptional iron content. Beef liver, for instance, provides a staggering 6.5 mg of iron per 100 grams, while chicken liver offers 9 mg. This organ meat is a favorite in sauces, stews, and street food like suya (spiced grilled meat).

3. Beans
Beans, a cornerstone of Nigerian cuisine, are an outstanding source of non-heme iron. Black-eyed peas (ewa oloyin) and brown beans (ewa drum) deliver around 3.7 mg of iron per cooked cup. They’re central to dishes like moi moi (steamed bean pudding) and akara (bean fritters), which are both flavorful and iron-packed.
