Last year at this time, it was N390 per kg. What happens when it gets to March/April which coincidentally is the Ramadan fasting month that ends with Eid-El-Fitri, followed by Easter two weeks later when chickens and therefore feed are in high demand? Is it when maize is N1000 per kg that I should bring prices down, when workers are also demanding higher wages?
