Mafia4life: Now I can speak boldly when am ask to compare both devices ( G P2 & T P5). Here is my unbiased reviews.
Benchmark scores usually varies for each test. Initially I ran a benchmark test using Atuntu v3.3.2 which gave me 4700. I blamed it on the installed version. So I updated Atuntu. First score after update was 9855. The next day after tweaking. I scored 10883. After I sold the phone, he brought it to me for some help. Then I ran another test on the P2. It scored a whooping 11566. Beside the score, I notice that the so called lag was just part of the device. It's not a bug ( Its just the frameskip per sec) because I operated other Gionee P2. The P2 is a nice phone with large Application memory plus it's incredible display that out-weight Tecno P5. The Camera quality is Okay though it lack Auto focus. The sharpness of the camera made pictures get some kind of noise ( color stains). Photos taken usually have its size between 3.5MB - 2.5MB. Sound Quality is not impressive. You need good player to set the equaliser to meet that of Tecno. Gionee fully customized the OS skipping some important options found in 'Developer settings'
The Gionee default luncher gives you the real feel of the word " Chinko or Chichi". Let me describe the feel of its lag. If you have operated those Chinko phones building in android style that accept java app. The same lag you feel is what you get in Gionee P2. But , it's not a bug. It's the built. It doesn't affect games.
