Nuzo1: Just a test like IELTS is now the best criteria to measure one's intelligence ? Ask them, why English test if not for money. In school, people failed English and still graduated tops. Some Brits also speak bad English. It's all over the world. Don't the fooled & stop selling your country for 1naira. Go and read the meaning of Commonwealth before you justify your words. |

Lifestone: The were kept at SAS and Kuje prison and not juvenile homes. If they were kept in juvenile facilities, FCT would have taken charge of their feeding and won't look malnourished I doubt if they have been arraigned in any court of law. Mentally, psychological and socially, those lads are down and with no proper rehabilitation, we are breeding another set of terrorists. We politicize everything. The political class need to liberal. They need to make life worthwhile irrespective of their age or class. The classism form of government we are practicing is not good. Nepotism killed institutions. Now, we are moving to another level. 1 Like 1 Share |

many pictures. It still does not justify the wickedness of the law enforcement officers. We don't respect the law and if we continue like this, I am worried about one Nigeria. The law states, you are not guilty until proven beyond reasonable doubt. Upon arrest, suspect should be charged to court within 48hrs. Those guys were kept for 93days. That's wickedness. Let's assume, they looted, they burnt and did all sorts, they are still INNOCENT until the court says otherwise. And why will you keep that large number for 93days. Kilode nah 5 Likes 1 Share |

You come up with investments. Highlight the forms of sustainable investments in Nigeria with the current state of the economy. See, Nigeria is not business friendly. I was once it computer printing, photocopy, project writing, spiral binding, registration of students for different exams, CAC registration, etc. You know what killed it - Nigeria People cannot think outside of the box again. The moment you flourish, they come in without any prior orientation. Low sales and eventually no sales Fuel - we cannot be on electricity so it's generator everyday Multiple Tax - The LG will come, IRS and FIRS will show. The only thing left is to have a skill. A skill that can make you earn in dollars. Yes. Save for the raining day and not for business purposes. If you have to save for business, ensure you are grounded and have enough in case Nigeria raise her ugly head. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

greatnaija01: Some of you will just open your mouth wide to spew gibberish. Read what you dropped over and over again. How much is the rent? The cost of feeding alone is enough to end the relationship. So, there are no other things to do than to pay rent and eat. The balance is enough to survive till another pay day, right? Dey play 200K is now BIG money to you. O wrong now You even brought business into it...how old a you and what's the highest amount you have ever received? What course did you study? It can't be Economics related. So, all those who invested in poultry business and never survived, failed? Making profit in business is not entirely in how much you invest but the purchasing power of the people. Can the people buy at the rate you sell? The devaluation of the Naira has increased cost of importation which will be transferred to the products and later to the buyer. Can they afford it? NO. That's why you see failing businesses and not because they don't have the idea of doing business. Send a business proposal, let me invest in it at no interest rate but profit will be 70-30. I bet you, it will be difficult to reimburse my profit every month talk less, the capital. Alaye, Nigeria is not working at this time. It will but not now because we are not patriotic. Corruption & nepotism has eaten deep into our fabric. 1 Like |

With all I have read, I can bodly say that,Wike is right. There is no hunger in the land. Nigerians just like complaining and wailing. Though, poverty has been weaponised. Notwithstanding, learned people can still stand firm with the ruling party despite what is going on in this country.? We a misfit nation. We deserve the leaders we get. raddyworld: Mandela stood for truth and democracy. Who amongst our leaders align with Mandela's ideology talk less Awolowo. Do they have any ideology at all? ENDSARS is a good example of our struggle for a better Nigeria. What was the outcome? It was politicised by the same politicians who think they own the country. Don't forget some folks are still languishing in various prisons. Can you stand again for the same cause? Do your research and understand that those in power don't have any iota of love for the masses. They don't bloody care. Ask folks who have worked with them. You will understand that less than 2% of the political class are patriotic. Don't be emotional about this issue. Let's be factual and sincere with ourselves. It's not about being corrupt. You can be corrupt and still love your country. When you steal and use the money to build hospitals, create jobs and all sorts. You are still patriotic. You see the difference between patriotism and corruption. Our leaders prefer to buy mansions abroad tha build schools. They don't even assist the vulnerable rather they prefer to rubbish it on our faces. My brother, staying back does not mean I am patriotic and moving out does not say otherwise. I just want a better life for myself and family. |

raddyworld: I want you to understand something about patriotism. It just leadership by example. That's all. Why should a politician I feed with my tax use same to for medicals abroad whereas the policeman securing him cannot get such. You want me to stay behind because I love my country. You don't wish me well then. Tell your leaders to build standard infrastructures, pay wages as at when due and provide adequate security. People will come back without hesitation. 1 Like |

Rich4god: Well, it happened during by youth service at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. The then provost, provided an opportunity for teachers with Masters in the College secondary school to apply for lecturing job. Some I now have completed their PhD while some are about to. Rich4god: You know why you felt that way, your salary and current status is way better than your teacher. What you proffer cannot work because you have to earn certain degree before you can become a lecturer. Therefore, if the teacher want to become a lecturer, he needs acquire the necessary degree. On the status of the teacher, most of us feel the same way but what I have realised is that the way our country is structured, it relegate some profession, teaching inclusive. Also, hourly payment has shown to be a better way to put all professions on the same grade which is herculean for us in Africa. Is there a way forward? Until those at the helms of affairs feel the pulse of the downtrodden, we would continue to complain. Also, recognise professionals in every field. 1 Like |

Juxtaposing a lawless country with a law abiding country is insane. Most of these people are comparing public hospitals in UK with both private and public in Nigeira. We have quacks in Nigeria in the name of private hospitals. At least we read the case of the doctor removing kidney of patients. That can never happen in the UK. Nigeria, we are lawless, we can buy every medication over the counter without prescription. That's what we call good healthcare. SMH Nigeria private hospitals are saturated, you can check in any any time so far you have the funds. Since we are used to gra gra approach, we get what we want, that's good health care. Nigeria where you need to know someone before you can get quick attention is what we call good health care but when it gets out of hand, UK is a safe haven. Ask the poor man in the village if he gets same treatment like the middle class. Forget it, our lawlessness seems to be best approach to everything. We are used to it so, going through proper channel is never in our blood and we see a lawful country with proper channel as bad. |
