The longevity of ACs to their respected resumption time for successful candidates depends on the mother firm itself. They set the parameters and then H follows. We were told to PREPARE for DBN would ask successful candidates to resume next week Monday...

Two things I want to infer then;
1. Let's be patient till the end of today or at most, tomorrow
2. If we get no mail at the close of tomorrow, that would mean plans have changed on the part of DBN and thus, a probable extension of the date of resumption

Well, at lunch were told everyone would get a mail not calls (I don't think its professional too, even if there would be, a mail should have been sent beforehand). Even if its not a success mail, we should still know where we are headed... I'm still hoping we get a response today though..

I once participated in an assessment centre held by H for firstbank. The coordination for DBN may not follow the same procedure though. Basically, we had competency based interview, power point presentation (on office 10), essay and group discussion...

other relevant information will be appreciated

Ignore this information. There's not even an iota of fact in this update. In the last recruitment, a batch went during November, so we are still going to training school this year.

Secondly, the reassurance mail would not have been sent if we have no hope of resuming training school this year.

Please, let's be sure of information we share. Misleading and misinforming people is an offence.

We keep the wait on. Training School would definitely still be this year. There's no doubt about that.

Also, that some got into TS previously by November doesn't mean we'd have a repeat of the same this year, I'm not sure that circle exists.

Lastly, the reassurance mail we got didn't in any way suggest we'd be getting into TS this year o. No particular timeframe or date was attached.

I also want to be in TS by next month too lol

But shaa, let's keep our fingers crossed

From my calculations, we should get our mails for documentation and medicals earlier in the week and then, we'd have the exercise later in the week (maybe Thursday and Friday)

If it happens so, we'd be given 2weeks to prepare for TS. After which, we'd have 12 weeks left in the year which is the appropriate time the TS runs

This is just a prediction, it may not happen. I know most of us, if not all are uptight already. Let's just be calm, our time will definitely come

I cannot wait to meet the lovely people here already

I think everything about the second batch will be on hold until the first batch rounds up. What matters is that we will be in the next batch.

Let's look forward for documentation and meds by early or mid September...

It took about a month before those in the current batch were called to resume TS after medicals.
