Reapplying should be based on your travel plan. The previous travel date as ed. By next month it will autumn and going to winter. Summer is almost over. Do you have the time? Will your employer reschedule you leave period. If so reapply.

Are you married? Because they said you are traveling alone. And do you have someone living in Liverpool? There are reservations closer to tourist attractions in London. If your business in Liverpool is not specific like visiting friends or family or an Event. It might seem suspicious as you didn't even list what you are doing in Liverpool.

Sorry for the refusal. The ECO must have had a bad day. The reasons are neither here or there. I would encourage you to reapply. The reasons for the refusal can be addressed in a good cover letter.

1. The ECO did not question your finance or the ability to fund the trip - Good
2. Going by your cover letter, ECO could not justified you spending two weeks, in which most of it was devoted to shopping without specific details. There are not too many shopping opportunity in Liverpool. However, this can be explained by listing the shops you want visits.
3. The ECO noted your lack of European tourist experiences. You can tell the ECO, that your choice of the UK was based on language, cultural historical relationship with Nigeria as it's colonial master etc.
4. Your Choice of Liverpool, can be explain too. You prefer to take trips to London (only on two occasions) was because you wanted a quite city, and wanted to enjoy the serene landscape as you have plans to travel to London by train or bus. Liverpool is also central as it allows you to travel north to visit cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
5. The ECO noted that you did not research your visit. Yes you did, there are unique tourist site in Liverpool, like Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Antfield stadium as a Liverpool fan. Liverpool convention centre, the famous Liverpool docks and fishing villages etc

Pls shed more lyt on diz, I went to embassy on Wednesday nyt and got to Abj on Thursday morning for biometric (3months) with d hope dt I will finish on dt same day and leave back to my town but unfortunately I wasn't able to get d visa on dt day after getting all d necessary procedures done, I was 2 check back next day (Friday) whn dey abt to close. I got stranded because I neva planned sleeping over, it was really a tough nyt cos I had 2 sleep at motor park (no choice). I got there early on Friday awaiting to collect my visa but to my surprise some some applicant dt we did together got their visa and new applicants also started collecting, I went to meet dt slim yellow naija guy at d reception 2 knw d cause of delaying my visa but he said it doesn't av issue and it can't be ready yesterday(Friday) as there was holiday at Dubai dt I shud check back next week,den I asked whn to com bak next week, he responded dt he can't say dt dey will call me whn it's ready.
Pls nairalander, does diz normal? Shud I just wait for their call or what shud I do?

maybe bro, you should ur agent, I was faced with similar situation though I got mine that same day but it took long before I collected my visa that day. I was advice to my agent, maybe your visa has not reflect on their system....I advise you ur agent. cheers!

Guy I was faced with similar situation,but was able to pull through. try and do the UAE embassy attestation if you're still in Abuja now, it can be done within 20minuts. each document is 18k or 19k.....
