The Reality of the issue is that there needs to be a change in Road construction and Rehabilitation Policy in Nigeria, all Stake holder have to be tly liable for construction and Rehabilitation of roads linking states.
The Reality of the situation is that the Federal Goverment are the least Concerned with the rehabilitation of this road as they are based in Abuja they are less concerned with state to state roads, they don't use them
The states Lagos and Ogun state should be pushing the Federal Goverment and they all should be tly responsible for the Rehabilitation of this roads and others in some proportion.
The solutions are quite easy and would ensure state to state roads are in good condition and done to a reasonable standard
This just requires a change in the Law slightly
The bottom line is you can not rely on the Federal Goverment to do anything for the people, they are completely Useless.

@lovethokoh please can you post pictures of the road with Pot Holes(craters)for the world to see, i am very familar with this road.
I think we should use this thread to highlight abandon FG goverment Roads that need attention, that way they have no excuse and won't tell us they are not aware.

Yes !!!!! at a very high rate in my Opinion, at least a 30% Tax rate on profits would be reasonable.

It should also be made compulsory that they are Audited Annualy to ensure that items that are not wholly and exclusively for "business purpose"(because this is what they are) ie Jets, luxury cars and other ancilliary costs are not hidden within their profit numbers.

I believe its wrong for OBJ to have taken the law into his owns hands and proceeded to impound BRT Vehicles.
This behaviour is quite inresponsible on his part if he has done this, i would not have expected such an unlawful reaction from an ex president/Head of State.
This is behaviour unbecoming of an Ex head of State. To go out and start Seizng state property "Public Property !!!" Just because of the seizure of one of his Vehicles, this behaviour is highly abnormal for an ex head of state.
OBJ knows the right thing to do, we dont need to remind him he is a role Model for a large part of the population as such he needs to set the right example for the benefit of all those who are looking up to him.
One other thing i will add is that on the other hand Fashola needs to review this law of Confiscating vehicles that break the law it appears to me to be slightly over punitive for the level of offence commited, however everyone needs to operate within the confines of law at all times.
