you should be able to get some studienkolleg who would give you a conditional ission to come over to and learn the language to B1 Level....before kicking off your studienkolleg

some studienkolleg are even d to a Language school.. so they would send you two ission letter to apply for a student visa...one letter from the language school,the other from the studienkolleg

pls is it a must that one must have or know somebody in before travelling to to help and aid him knowing the environment well

if no...please what are the safety measures for someone who doesn't know or have anybody to put in place or check before travelling to ??

So I went to the DHL office today at Isolo and they said I have to get the envelope two days or a day before my interview. That it expires within two days!

I got my DHL courier envelope from Igbosere Rd Lagos Island.... I enquired from the man how long does it stay before it expires after telling him I need it a month from the date I was paying for it..The man assured me that it hardly expires....that it would be active even after a month.

As for the Courier Envelope.... just walk into any DHL outlet near you and tell them that the German Consulate needs you to provide a courier envelope.. they know what to do...it's not more than #1,200

Good day everyone. I had my interview April 18, 7am and I'd love to post about it.
I Got to the embassy 6:30am, presented my appointment confirmation to the security officer and was ordered to sit alongside other applicants. We were called by mr Paulinus, Three Students at a go, just to arrange documents(original, photocopy and photocopy) before proceeding to the security checkpoint thereafter Interview waiting room.

So I arranged my documents, and was ushered in.
I was told to sit at the waiting section right after the security checkpoint.
After few minutes of waiting, it got to my turn.
The VO was friendly.
She asked for my port photographs (she collected 3 from me), school name, appointment confirmation and then biometrics. I was given a document to sign stating I would block and send the blocking confirmation ASAP.

She was going through my documents then she saw my B1 certificate and she said the interview would be conducted in German (I was surprised, cuz I did the exam December, I might have forgotten some words and also I never expected it) but God took control it went well.

She asked me
Which school?
Why the course?
What I'll do after studienkolleg?
Subjects I would be taking in Studienkolleg?
The duration of the program?
Facts about ?
15minutes later the interview was concluded

Concerning arranging of documents, I would suggest putting each photocopies immediately after their originals (zB. original ission letter, 2 photocopies follows immediately, Waec original,2 photocopies follows immediately usw.) So it's gonna be easy locating each documents and the photocopies. So when Paulinus calls a document , you just have to locate the original then Definitely the photocopies should follow, I did it that way and it worked
Also I paid NGN30,500 visa fee

check that school website.... it would save u from unnecessary stress....you can mail them if you can't see what they require...mail them to ask them where should you certify

okay Mr uchman let me try my best and see if I can help you to understand...

Studienkolleg is a 9 months to a year duration preparatory program that prepares a student before commencing his/her Bachelor program..

in Nigeria what I call Studienkolleg is the normal Pre-degree studies which most Nigerian universities do offer to students who are Willing to take up a Bsc program In it's institution...

Now back to the German aspect.... Now Studienkollegs are recommended for student whose qualifications are not sufficient to directly take up a course in a German university...

now Studienkolleg mainly requires a waec certificate and a level of German proficiency probably B1 or B2 with certificate because it is taught entirely in German though there's is One I can recommend for you that lectures in English buh the tuition fees are quite very high...

Now let's go to the application aspects, it's quite advisable to go to a Studienkolleg d to a German university for easily age into it's university...

And most of them are through Uni-assist,what you would do is to send all your Qualifications to a university that you are sure that has an active Studienkolleg d to them ...so that if your Qualification isn't sufficient for a direct ission into the university... they would give you a Studienkolleg ission....


Or there are some Independent studienkollegs in too that you can apply to and they would send you a conditional ission Letter that requires you to satisfy your German proficiency level that they demand...

I have ission offer for the MSc winter 2019/20 and I am preparing for the interview at the embassy. But I'm however caught up at a cross road over the following issues which I sought your help:

i. The middle name on my birth certificate is "X" . on growing up to secondary school, I dislike the middle name and I choose another from the list of names my parents christened me. I choose "O" as my new middle name. The "O" middle name has since been adopted and appeared on my SSCE and BSc certificates, my international port also carries the "O" middle name.

ii. My primary school certificate and testimonial has just my first name and surname. No middle name included in any of the two.

now my challenge is, can I do a declaration of age that carries my "O" middle name and present it during the interview. please take note that my date of birth is 197*

The second challenge is, can I swear an affidavit with regards to my primary school certificates and testimonial that has none of my middle name on it : so as to prove its compatibility with my other documents that bears my "O" middle name.

please your prompt advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
