I'm not in anyway offended, just letting you know what's going on. Like I said, we post pictures all the time and if you really care, visit the governors website from time to time and stay informed.

This is a government that's doing everything in its power to create a better life and environment for the people of lagos state and if you think there is something they need to be doing and they are not doing, I can prove to you with facts and pictures that they are. Maybe not enough because of money constraints, but they are doing something unlike many other states in Nigeria.

And they are doing that by . . . planting flowers?

My grand mother was trying to plant some trees in her compound the other day, she broke her back in the process and now she is bed ridden . . . hows that for better life and environment?

Mr. Globe:

lol, another mad cow on the loose. if the igbo community in Lagos decides to go back home, Lagos will turn to Ekiti or Osun or other SW caves. We are the life that Lagos has. We are known for industry unlike you folks that only do owanbe every second for no reason. get that

And you are making this claim on a Yoruba forum. You probably live in Lagos, typed this senseless post on a laptop and internet connection brought to Nigeria by a Yoruba man. Maybe you even went to school in the SW, who knows. Most likely, you claim one of the SW states as your state of origin on your ission forms. You probably ate a Yoruba delicacy before typing that shyt. Chances are you dress Yoruba, listen to Yoruba TV, music, and save your money in a Yoruba bank. You are right, if you and your folks leave Lagos, Lagos will collapse. You are indeed the life that Lagos has. But what I find confusing is why you and your folks left your homeland in the first place . . . Why? I guess its the love you have for the Yorubas that made you leave the paradise-on-earth called Alaigbo. You just somehow like our laziness and our Owanmbe style and the fact that they will not kidnap your mother for money or eat you while you are asleep. It could also be because we are very honest and very very industrious. I dont know, and I may never know, but you alone know DEEP DOWN why you left Alaigbo for Ala- SW and why you are here on NL to tell us how awesome you are.

Just so you know, if you were that awesome, you would probably be somewhere else, not here. grin grin grin grin

J12: I don't see anything wrong with the existence of both waec and neco. Students should be able to opt for or against any of the examination councils. If a student wants to partake only in waec, he should have the right to do so.

I agree. People should be free to do whatever they want in a free enterprise system. That said, dont use my tax money to do what another person is already doing well.

NECO should not be bankrolled by the government.

Lagos — The Minister of Finance, Dr Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has described Nigeria's current educational system as ineffective and advocated a paradigm shift to focus on technical and vocational training.

Dr. Okonjo Iweala, who delivered a keynote speech at the 2012 Isaac Moghalu Foundation held yesterday in Lagos, decried Nigeria's sustained fallen standard of education over the years and blamed government, educators and parents for the problem.

The minister, who spoke on "Reforming Nigeria's Education System: A Paradigm Shift", said government has failed to forge a clear framework to develop the sector while the "regulatory system in the sector is largely ineffective and this reflects on the curriculum especially in many private schools of foreign origin."

She questioned the logic of having both WEAC and NECO conducting same exams for the same set of students at the same time, saying that one of the bodies should be scrapped because the arrangement is not adding any value to the quality of education.

On educators, the minister she spoke of their corrupt tendencies and moral bankruptcy, saying it was disgusting that a parent could hire someone to write exams for their wards or buy marks for them.

Okonjo-Iweala, who backed her submission with statistics from the World Bank and other sources showing how Nigeria's education dwindled over the years, concluded that the entire educational system needs retooling to focus on "learning outcomes and skills acquisition than just years of schooling."

She also said Nigeria's development quest would be a mirage if her educational paradigm was not shifted now to be Nigeria's development needs specific.

The minister decried the dearth of qualified teachers in Nigeria, saying statistics showed about 57 percent of Nigeria's primary school teachers are not qualified.

She said because the resources being extended to education sector was not commensurate with the output, the federal government would not increase education budget until leakages in the sector are eliminated.

Also speaking, the governor of Central Bank, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, agreed that Nigeria needs to focus on technical education but insisted that appointment into positions of authority must be based on merit and not based on some affiliation to a political party.

This thread should be titled: AWA DADDY HAS GONE MAD AGAIN.
antitpiah: 7:57pm On Jul 14, 2012
Gbawe:

Were Igboro, worry first about gaining a cure for your legendary madness before you pray for others. A man with over a hundred ID's on Nairaland is too far gone in schizophrenia to be worrying about others. You need all the prayers you can get so that you can be well enough one day to even contemplate having a family (if any sane woman will come near you) since you are totally obsessed with talking about the family of others.

Classic disorganized speech and thinking often seen in schizophrenics.

Perhaps some day, when I have time, we will look into your family 'issues' comprehensively. Oedipus complex? It fits and certainly explains a lot about your conduct here and pervert-like fondness for mentioning wives, children, family etc. Sicko.

Oedipal complex in a thread about PDP and how they have taken over NL = Loose associations (a manifestation of a thought disorder whereby the patient's responses do not relate to the interviewer's questions, or one paragraph, sentence, or phrase is not logically connected to those that occur before or after)

http://psychcentral.com/encyclopedia/2008/loose-associations/

Every one can judge for themselves what is going on here with Gbawe. FYI, loose associations is another defining feature of schizophrenia.

Gbawe:

Ogbeni, you need your drugs to 'calm' you down. It seems you are foaming at the mouth more than usual today. Were Igboro.

Just so you know, I am not PDP. I am not the enemy. Please for the sake of your family, take a break. You need it. I will continue to pray for you and I hope you get the deserved help. Again I repeat, I am not PDP. cool

Tippy Top: This Gbawe dude is past stage 2 of acute insecurity and paranoia.
Gbawe the ACN chieftain has the cheek to suggest PDP is taking over nairaland when most discerning people know nairaland is run by ACN sympathisers. What a load of codswallop. Damn!!!

You are right. Gbawe is acutely schizophrenic. Schizophrenia is a brain disease. Its defining feature is psychosis, or being out of touch with reality. Delusions and hallucinations are hallmarks of the illness. Delusions are fixed and false beliefs that aren't responsive to evidence
, and hallucinations are false sensory experiences. For example:
gbawe123:

Look, don't patronise me. What parameters guides the spambot to the extent my post was regarded as spam? The first post complied with all NL rules. I would appreciate it if you guys look at the filters of your spambot because it appears very arbitrary to me. Instead of coming here with you patronising tone, you should show me what constitute spam in my post or simply apologize for your spambot which is highly partisan IMO.

Gbawe thinks the spambot is highly partisan. Not just partisan, but HIGHLY partisan. Highly partisan spambot . . . Only in Gbawe's mind. He probably thinks his TV and laptop are partisan too. Maybe the air he breathes is partisan as well, who knows.

You see in Gbawe's mind PDP on NL is real. They are controlling everything and they are this formidable enemy he needs to defeat. I just hope he gets the treatment he needs on time. If you've never seen schizophrenic people, you may think schizophrenia is benign, But let me tell you, there is nothing benign in what Gbawe is going through. Gbawe needs all the help he can get. And my heart goes out to his little girls.

I am seriously worried for Gbawe, he now comes across as a shattered and broken person. Broken by the imaginary PDP he and his folks cant defeat. Shattered by his inability to understand why they cant seem to be able to defeat that imaginary PDP. It is just a matter of time before he is confined to an institution. I just hope he gets the treatment he needs before it is too late. Paranoid schizophrenia is not a nice thing to go through in life. Its an awful, degrading and painful thing. The kind of psychosis Gbawe is going through cant be explained. Its like having a nightmare while awake . . . just imagine.

You "PDP guys ( PDP in Gbawe's mind)" have done a great number on his brain. With every post, his incoherence and mental instability loom larger. This is a lesson for us all to not take things too seriously.

Gbawe, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. grin

Beaf, please, he needs our comion at this time. Schizophrenic people like Gbawe do better with from their perceived enemies. Please lets stop mocking him. He needs us now more than at any other time. We need to show him that we are not his enemies and those perceived antagonism only exist in his mind because in the end the humanity we share as Nigerians is way more important than the mental illness we may not be sharing with Gbawe. grin

What those who suffer with mental illness like Gbawe want is what the rest of us want: in the words of Sigmund Freud, "to work and to love." And if I may add, to be able to post on NL without the "imaginary PDP" controlling their thoughts. smiley
antitpiah: 12:34pm On Jul 14, 2012
That said, I hope you die of that Paranoia. Too bad you have kids, they've probably inherited your schizophrenic PDP-IS-AFTER-ME gene. Anyways, I hope they dont end up like you. But I understand, it may be too late . . .
antitpiah: 12:33pm On Jul 14, 2012
I wonder if Gbawe sees PDP in his sleep. This guy is going cuckoooooo, someone should please help Gbawe before he becomes full-blown "were."

Natasha,,:

If people with great Iq are like you then I better not have at all, the point is he did those stuff whether with his money or not, it is not your money is it? I bet if you were open to such wealth as he was your family would not even benefit. I will bet so much on it that you can't speak as well as he speaks.

YOU WHO UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH SO WELL HOW COME YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE A CORRECT SENTENCE? AHAHAHAHAHA
WITH HE BARELY UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT'S SPANISH I SUPPOSE. grin grin

In a cleft sentence like this, the "who" refers to the "you," so we want "understand," not "understands." You might avoid the problem by saying, instead, "You're the one who understands English." (You've got exactly the same grammatical issue here, but somehow the "one who understands" sounds more natural.)

Your English teacher would be up in arms if they saw what you wrote here. Go back to your school and ask for a refund, they have failed you. Anyway, I am done entertaining your dimwitted self.
