Activa:I your views and suggestions. But let us start with states with high IGRs. I think EFCC can start from Lagos State. The 8.Years of Tinubu should be scrutinised since CCT made an error in freeing him. What do think bro Activa? There are many thieves walking freely in Nigeria, including OBJ and Fashola! I have no pity for someone who betrayed a party that gave him 8 years of office as governor, 4 years as senator. When he was leading New PDP senators to oppose Jonathan, these same people were urging him on. Now the same people want to drown him, is he expecting PDP to help him? No way!! If I am a PDP senator, this is the time to betray Saraki for his betrayal of Jonathan. It will teach others like him lessons in future not to bite the finger that fed them. As for APC, it is time to go down the drain. To your tents oh ACN, C and ANPP. Perhaps only Amaechi and Okorocha would be needing new political platforms. 1 Like |

fiizznation:Those of you encouraging Buhari forgot that OBJ regime was brought to her knees by this same militants. Even then they never tasted amnesty bounty. Now, they are more emboldened. Again pipeline vandalism is not conventional warfare but hit and run. Ask yourself a simple question, if you are an oil worker, would you dare go to a militarised region? Who will drill the oil, soldiers? I wonder how military can police the length and breath of Nigeria pipeline network. I wish Buhari luck on this adventure. By the time two or three oil workers are kidnapped and killed, other will be forced to vacate. Situation like this deserve negotiations and not bravado! 2 Likes |

To all those shouting NASS this and that, let us wait for their reply. As for me, we do not need a coastal rail to be financed by concession. That means that the Chinese would build, operate and transfer the project, just like Lekki concession projects. If you understand what that means. Questions to ask are: Why not develop any two of Calabar, Warri and Onne or any other seaport with this fund? That would decongest Lagos ports and be of better benefits to SS & SE, if you love the people so much. Unless we are saying that SS & SE would perpetually be dependent on Lagos for import and export. Why rail, to serve what purpose? To move goods from Lagos to the SS and SE? Why not complete the second Niger bridge instead? Why are you concessioning only the Calabar-Lagos rail of all rail lines in Nigeria? Meaning, the cost would be recouped from s who incidentally would be SS and SE. We should reason things before castigating others. have we even heard from NASS?? 3 Likes |

kel4soft: He should sign the thing jare! Why is it that the coastal rail is the only one planned for BOT (Build, Operate & Transfer). Indirectly, the Chinese would manage the rail to collect their money. The rest of the rails in Nigeria are not private projects. you can see through the veil that indirectly, the Niger-Deltans would pay for the project. Instead of coastal rail, develop three seaports with the funds. Of what purpose is a coastal rail to Nige-Deltans? Again why would you be funding a project frm the provider of your resources with counterpart funding? It is not what it seems, fellow Niger-Deltans, Na gbese like Lekki Concession!!! |

According to Punch new papers, when Buhari was confronted with the fact that Nigeria has large populations of both Muslims and Christians and that some Christians are complaining that he is giving Islamic identity to the country by his actions, Buhari wondered why the Christians who are complaining have not deemed it fit to confront of Boko Haram in the North East or militants in the South South. “Why can’t those Christians that complained go and fight terrorism in Nigeria or fight the militancy in the South. It’s Nigeria that matters, not the opinion of some religious bigots,” he declared. Interestingly, Nigeria armed forces are made up of both Christians and Muslims and some others who are traditionalists. These men and women have been fighting the terrorists, I mean Islamic terrorists in the last six to seven years. Their identity have remained Nigeria Army, Nigeria Airforce, Nigeria Police Force, etc. I recall that Nigeria led a coalition of The Economic Community of West African States Monitoring Group (ECOMOG) to restore peace in Liberia and Sierra Leone, they were not called Nigerian Armed Forces, rather ECOMOG soldiers. The question the president and his ers need to answer are: How would the Islamic Coalition Forces be called? An Islamic coalition forces? Islamic Army or Jihadists Army? Would the men and women to be drafted into this force be exclusive Muslims? How would a Christian or other non-Muslim soldiers feel being called Islamic Soldiers or Airforce men? Would the Nigeria soldier be allowed to observe his/her Christian faith, pray, call the name of Jesus? Would the women be allowed to dress as they do now in the Nigeria Armed Forces? Would the men be allowed to relish the Pork that they see as delicacy? If these issues do not matter because these men and women signed up to be soldiers, etc, how about the feelings of over 80 Million Christians and non-Islamic adherents in Nigeria? Does the president and his ers not see that their feelings are literally being violated? Now, who is a bigot?? According to dictionary definition, Bigotry is "intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself." By inference, a BIGOT is someone who is intolerance towards those who hold different opinion from himself. If the world and especially the Muslim world are calling the likes of Donald Trump a Bigot for his views about Muslims, what does the president think that over 80 million Christians would think of him? I think the PRESIDENT AND HIS ERS ARE THE BIGOTS here. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
