Set awon "I wish I met you before I met my wife", na from courtship they dey start. The guy is playing both of you and messing with both you and his girlfriend's heads. Since he has told you that he doesn't want to leave a girl he claims not to love, do yourself a favour and block all forms of communication with him. Except you want to remain his side chick even after he marries her sha o.

This is the bottom line^. Remove him from your head and life fast fast - this is a DANGER ZONE. He will respect you for it.

Some observations though:
1. You said due to your ex you won’t be in a relationship with another man - but life goes on sis, you can’t take panadol for another persons headache.

2. You are taking this same do or die mentality with this bobo who is living his best life and doing what’s right for him. I think you have to stop over emphasising the man’s good points to blur out the negative (e.g. making your relationship a figment of his GF’s imagination etc). You’re harming yourself. And do you think you deserved any less? Are you a fugitive?

3. Just because you think he’s telling you all he feels, doesn’t mean that this is truly the case. I’m not saying he’s a liar, but it takes two to tango, he’s definitely engaging her on an intimate level. Shine your eye babe.
Before you know it, your life can flash past you, he will have 2/3/4 pikin (some you may even baby sit grin) and the true one desperate to love you (single man o) will be weary by then.

4. STD/Is are real. Are you prepared to enter a love triangle abi hexagon at the risk of your health? Hian.

5. Know your worth. Don’t settle for being the puff puff or chin chin when you are a 3 course buffet. kiss

Lol, it is there but you won't see it unless you seek for people involved in natural things. Africans think they are the masters of juju... there is a reason why there is an English word-Occult. Go into it and see if it is false!

You’ve even gone far bros.

In the west, there are MULTIPLE TV stations and programmes for this type of thing, live performances (yes where people but £100 tickets), university modules even. But no, everyday subconscious colonial worship of ‘the enlightened, the exposed, the educated’.

These same people derive their very existence from us and all some Africans are desperate to do is esteem them as some sort of validation tool. angry

Hard times !

These are just the ones that are bold to come out begging on the streets.

Some are dying inside.

We should start advocating for people to birth less number of children.

I really don’t think it’s fair to say birth control means better living conditions or poverty alleviation. I liken it to saying that only the rich deserve to have a family.

We can’t even address serious crime, including crime against children without people (some men*) wanting to polarise the discussion or have their egos massaged.

UTTER TRASH.

How frustrated are you with life? Don't worry. Things will get better.

I almost agreed with you but it’s more about the OP asking for God to bless Buhari. It’s quite insulting to openly celebrate such a person in light of all that we have seen in the past 1000 or so hours alone, let alone his entire regime. sad

Ahhh... u need to take things easy. You're getting it wrong. I don't believe trp debases women but rather enlightens the man. My POV tho. Might not be totally correct but its how i see it

I beg to differ.
In my own POV it sounds like you’re being politically correct. But I think It’s not what the label says on the tin that matters, but what the tin contains.

Na wah oo.. So u believe red pill is about causing pains n inflicting harm on women?

Actually, I believe any ideology which teaches that another human being is substandard/deformed/valueless is about perpetuating grievous harm, destruction and naturally, pain.

Especially red pill.

Lol. The first time I watched Terminator 2: Judgement Day was on this. And those Van Damme movies. Jackie Chan. Bruce Lee.

Most notable of the Nigerian movies were Last Burial, Issakaba, Snake Girl, Glamour Girls etc.

Glamour Girls!!!! Classic!!!

There’s one movie I will never forget, the cover art used to haunt me: ‘Prophecy’.
Hm I won’t describe the details but ‘blood’ full everywhere. I was just a child men, those 9ja horrors were worse than any sort of scary moviegrin

I also feel like back then we could watch the same movie severally, on different occasions, and then even lend them around.

Now? No way.

Movies are very disposable and repetitive. Hardly any prominent ones that you could watch over and over again.

I think it’s easy to miss the point here. The actual issue is not about whether we should or should not be calling out bad behaviour, it’s about the societal norms and how consistent they are with our true beliefs/culture.

If it is normal, in Nigeria, for everybody to embezzle in some sort of way, or accept bribery in some sort of way, then it doesn’t make any sense to shun it as though it is an anomaly.

If a behaviour is normal, then why do we shift the goal posts of what is acceptable, depending upon context of the conversation?

The FGN law states that only a monogamous marriage is legal , but a STATE governor (e.g. Murtala Nyako), functioning in the capacity of leadership and interpretation of that same law can legally have 4 wives. Why are we deceiving ourselves? In fact where have we seen someone convicted of such? (I personally just think the law should reflect the truth of marriage)

On the flip side, Nigeria is the most religious country in the world (don’t quote me, but I do know that we have the most churches statistically). Yet, we are ranked in the top 10 for sexual violence and female danger - globally . So there is a a false prescription of spirituality

As with the aforementioned examples in the thread, often a time, a popular Nigeria statement has completely parallel cultural implications or internalisation by the speaker.

It’s almost as if we know how to socially navigate, but inwardly, we know the true values we hold and they don’t need to be consistent with what we portray to other people.

Thank you.

It’s not even funny at all, I don’t know how I’ve been stumbling across these redpill forums these days but what I read is so alarming.

I’m not even interested in fem not to talk of feminism but how do we expect a nation to thrive when we want to classify 60% of its population as subhuman. Is that not madness? Is that an attitude that will sustain any sort of progressive development in any ramification?

Hian.
