How many vehicles does same african continent produce on their own? Where do our vehicles and parts come from? Can the continent stand stagnant and isolated when other nations and continents are moving forward to a better solution to the global health?

Pls Always think intelligently before you respond to my post.
lol when it comes to the energy sector, it is my field so i can school you.

First you mistook oil production for oil consumption. We are producing oil to sell for money. It is that money is what runs the country, fund our budget etc.

Russia is a develop country and mostly rely on their oil economy.. EU is still one of the biggest importer of oil globally, during winter they still rely on wood and gas for heat.

Yet they are urging you to go for clean energy... the entire Africa continent only contribute 4% to global carbon footprint and SA and Egypt tops the chart. Lets stop crying more than the bereaved.

He is right.

OIl is becoming irrelevant. I don't think it would become irrelevant by 2035...that is where i disagree with him....but the issue is, electric vehicles are becoming more and more ubiquitos in the developed world. And much better. In 2006, BYD's first electric car could go 150km without charging. Now they are considered better than tesla...which can do more than 150 on a single charge.

But the scary thing is the concept of even more stronger batteries....and then there is the developments in nuclear fusion. Once it comes, oil is gone .

We have to prepare for that no oil future yesterday, and it is a sad thing your government is not doing anything about it.
oil is never going to become irrelevant. Even lithium has its dangers. Just go online and see different videos where lithium set up explode.

Clean energy is not an African problem, we have big fishes to fry. Let industrialized countries that contribute more to global warming worry about that. Ours is to sell our oil and use the money to develop other sectors till we wont have to depend on oil anymore
AJSfan: 8:57am On Apr 19

You guys are the most-delusional beings I've ever seen. Why not invest on lithium technology instead of crude, since we also have the materials locally instead of flexing muscle on increase in the crude production capacity? I when abacha said Nigeria would earn low revenue, should we embrace GSM because Nitel would
be no more. When ordinary Benin republic don dey use gsm, ATM too, we never even dream say we go launch ours. Today, they make baastard money from gsm revolution, employment sef plenty. What of the benefits accrued from it's use... they're uncountable.

typical clownish behaviour. What percentage does Africa continent contribute to the carbon footprint? You are here comparing a country where hunger is a problem with countries that have solved that problem ages ago. You lots minor on majors and major on minors

You don't just insult people for the sake of it.
That man obviously saw better days in this country and he's also still doing fine. Man is just worried for our generation and that of our children. You entirely missed the import of his post. Everything is not politics. Heck!
where is the insult? Stop being delusional is rather an advice. Oil is still our major source of revenue, you cant wish that away. When our oil production dropped we all felt it.. projecting forward for more oil production is a wise thing to do. USA has the biggest oil reserves in the world which they use to manipulate global oil price. You think you are smarter than them?

Moreso, we dont contribute to the global carbon footprint as much as the industrialized nations. Global warming, clean energy et al should be the least of our worries

Backward thinking people. Better countries are eyeing massive reduction in emissions of free radicals by 2035 by massively wiping out petrol-enabled vehicles from their soil. Who com do Nigeria like this? I still can't believe Nigeria could be like this. All the indomie generations ing these leaders should pick a book of history and read about Nigeria of the past, especially from 70s to the early 90s. Or they have the opportunity to see how their children are balling in with celebs. They'd stone the crop of leaders we have today instead of worshipping them.

Those traveling out in that era did so for 2 reasons...vacation and business trips. Only a few would go to the embassy for schooling abroad cos we were OK. Nigeria was being eyed by the entire world. As at 2004/2006, Canadian embassy was always dry at anifowoshe, VI where they used to process TRV while the Immigrant visa was being handled by their Accra office. Only a few would apply. Go to vfs manor house today, it's like an annual conference. Nigeria is messed up.

Unfortunately, this generation that is badly hit by bad governance are the ones fighting for them. Yiu can't drive from lagos-ibadan expressway in the night as of old, when day travels aren't even safe anymore. With good leaders in place, all these nonsense won't happen. Lives don't matter to them. We used to have highway patrol team in prado jeeps back then. Nothing like that again and all these happened in the era of the military
stop being delusional.. so because the world is going green, we should stopping tapping the liquid gold we have underneath... we are producing the oil to sell not use locally.. ask yourself why there is still a demand for oil by same countries championing going green?

If a worldly man can choose not file s case, how much more a woman who claim to have holy spirit in her
there is a thin line between catching cruise and bullying. VDM did too much, he bullied her. When there is a case in court, the court asks both parties to maintain status quo, meaning they shouldnt talk about the matter outside again and let the court decide.

VDM still posted an event she was invited for and dragged her. He even did two open verse challenge about her. Baba he asked for it.

Go read your bible. Even Apostle Paul used his privilege as a Roman citizen when Felix kept him in jail to please the jews. Christianity no be foolishness

How does that manifest into criminal charge? this is what Im trying to understand, the Falanas are wiser. She is being taken for a ride by make belief lawyers. This is a civil case. The so called evidence are i n the general public, however She does not know the evidence VDM has as they are not in the public domain is not stupid, he does not do anything without proof. At least this case is in his ground ABJ.
naa, the Falanas were gracious. Femi Falana in his interview on Channels said he chose not to file for criminal defamation because he is a leader of a movement advocating for removal of criminal defamation from law across West African countries...

Many western countries have done away with criminal defamation to promote free speech, but as of today, there is still a provision in our constitution that allows people sue for both criminal and civil defamation. For civil, the penalty is usually monetary but for criminal, it is jail.

Funny part of life all those against VDM will always want to reach him first for help when they become victim
he does good work, nobody has faulted him for those. But coming online to defame people with no solid evidence is his undoing. Eazee T manipulated him to be speaking on a matter already before the court.

Order arrest lol and he gets bail,NEXT
well, he is in for a big one this time because this complainant chose to file a criminal defamation case against him as against thee civil one the Falanas filed. And according to the news, she was able to present evidence in court that his defamation has had consequence on her business. If he knows what is good for him, he should pursue settlements ASAP

Did God inspire her to go to court?

They now have Special assistants who tell churches how much they will pay the singers to come and worship God in their churches. So the altar has now become a concert stage. Lift up your hands in worship, yet your pay must be wired into your unfailingly

We claim to be like Christ who was called all sorts of names and yet he didn't command fire and brimstone, yet every little thing we run to court to claim defamation.
Let's talk about Pst Chris, TB Joshua, Adeboye, Oyedepo etc that has swam in the ocean of defamation, how many people did they sue?

What's the difference between the so called gospel ministers and secular singers??
did God inspire you too to make this post? How is she different from you or another person? Music is an art, if you must invite a popular musician cos you need publicity in your church, be ready to pay

EFCC in Ilorin is different from the EFCC that is in court against him now or what cos I don't understand your point
VDM said Mercy took EeAzee to EFCC in Ilorin cos she had connections, saying the EFCC in Ilorin is compromised. Now it is Lagos EFCC that took the matter to court, what does Eazee still have to fear if his hands is clean. He still sent audio to VDM yesterday, is he more concern about winning social media case than the one in court?

So the $274k they forcefully collected from him is for what pls
he claimed it was EFCC in Ilorin that did that, the case is now before a judge that VDM claimed has alot of integrity. He should appear before the court with all the evidences he has been sending to VDM

According to me keh?

Two things are clear; 1. You have brain problem , you are not that bright… probably due to malnutrition and poor living conditions

2ndly: Mercy chinco is a hypocrite and a manipulator
you're a clown. Its obvious you think all Nigerians are as dumb as you lots that rather believe the of VDM that was paid to launder Eeazee image. Here is his chance to defend himself in court, he has a SAN representing him but is evading arrainment. At least this is Lagos and not Ilorin, he should come with all his audio evidence if he truly is innocent

So he is a manipulator because he criticised your God Tinubu?
dumb ratels wont know they are being manipulated. He reach time make he come answer allegations against am na den he say Tinubu dey mismanage the country. He said that so that TVC wont invite him. TVC presenter already said they would love him to come and tell his side of the story. He mentioned Tinubu because he knows TVC wont entertain any discussion that is against their proprietor.

ObaKlaz:
With the way Nigeria is populated by people who think like you, maybe someone needs to come on the scene to 'manipulate' people into thinking straight.

VDM brought very compelling proofs to back himself up, why has Mercy Chinwo not taken him to court? Or, why can't her pastor-husband litigate? He suddenly lost his balls as a man and husband! And mind you, these religious folks love litigation so much, to protect the persona they are trying to sell!!

As for TVC, I'm waiting for them to invite VDM. In journalism and even legally, he's entitled to a right of reply. But, TVC would NEVER dare that. They know it would be a case of inviting a wrecking ball to their sand castle.

Utill Mercy Chinwo sues VDM (he's been literally begging her for a lawsuit ever since! or her followers can take it upon themselves to sue him, just as in the case of Prophet Wamor-wamor Fufeyin), until Dee-Worm provides hard facts to nail VDM, VDM stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Who dey follow una do mumu sentiments? And if VDM committed any PROVEN crime, let him go down for it!

Dee-Worm is the fool, trying to project his tomfoolery on VDM.
very compelling proof you say. He came out with a one sided story obviously bankrolled by Eezee else how did he get all those secret documents? So you think Eezzee will tell him he was wrong and not try to embelish the story to paint himself in a good light? If he was interested in the truth he would have reached out to botj parties then draw a conclusion afterwards. He kept saying his instincts doesnt lie.
AJSfan: 10:50am On Feb 18
optimistfeel:
VDM has already exposed himself before he reached this level, he said he got nothing to lose, what are you going to expose again
classic deflection tactics. If he truly got nothing to lose he wouldnt have been going after everyone who attacked him. Truth is he doesnt know anything about Dee One that is why he cant attack him. VDM always threathens and attack people based on what he has heard about them
