Ochelyko1: ".....who knows to tell you that we don't serve an imaginary creature but the living God who created the Heaven and the Earth and we are to tell others about His Love for all. I generally don't have issue with other people's belief except if such beliefs has blinded their eyes to the point that its affecting the well beings of others in the society. So, you really think and feel you are worthy enough to serve God? Yoruba spiritual beliefs tells us that it's God that is actually serving us. We are not worthy enough. That we should bother about serving one another. Just give praise to God for serving you. This world is beyond what you assume or take it to be. Start by accepting that you do not know enough. Or is there anyone who know it all. Likewise the knowledge and wisdom in the entirety of this universe goes beyond a single religious book. That's why you should be a seeker rather than a religious individual. |

Ochelyko1: Do you know what Orunmila, the Yorubas divinity for wisdom and knowledge advised his followers never to do to followers of different religion? He advised that they should never engage in criticism of other religions. So, it's obvious who is above board here. 1 Like |

sunshine1974: That is the approach Orunmila, the Yoruba divinity for wisdom and knowledge advised that we practise.. it's called "Iwapele", meaning "Calm character". You may not know that the original name of the Yorubas is "Omoluabi", broken into parts, Omo-ti-Olu-Iwa-Bi, and when interpreted means the "child beget by the lord of character". Most Yorubas have deviated from their destined path, and thats why they are suffering in Nigeria. Now, they prefer evil than good. And again, you see the word "character" in the name of Yorubas ancient divine king and progenitor, Oduduwa. Broken into parts as "Odu-du-Iwa". |

It's an Osun disciple that this mindless woman was messing with. These are very peaceful people that use the power of water to heal and help people suffering from different ailments. Who in his/her right mind would hate water. That individual doesn't deserve to live. Most Africans are just suffering from colonial mentality. No people that dishonor their ancestors will ever prosper. That's what Africans are suffering from. We abandoned a way of life with knowledge gathered over hundreds of thousands of years for the lies brought by Europeans and Arabs. See where it has got us.

OnionBandit: It goes beyond that. Northerners know within themselves that they couldn't continue to act recklessly as they used to do before because they have put themselves in a tight corner, and because the unity of the country is at stake, for which they would be the biggest loser if things fall apart. Haven't they done enough killing already. The fulani terrorists particularly. Now some people have choose to communicate with them in the language they understand. Sadly violence would lead to more violence, and it doesn't guarantee best outcome. 2 Likes 1 Share |

kollinzgee: Response to every situation like this is not violence. Wisdom is mightier than guns and swords. What has the violent approach you have adopted got you? More violence, spilling of innocent blood. There is time for everything. By the time we start, we can pronounce that the ground open up and swallow the enemies. Do you know there is a Yoruba town called Igbomoku where no uniform men can step into? Where they will disappear to nothingness. Patience is a virture of the powerful. |

Kyari represents a potentially dangerous suspect. If let go on bail, he has the skills and experience to tamper with evidence, go after witnesses, and even kill to prevent his prosecution. Expect him to have some arms stored secretly somewhere.

alexmakaay: Problem has been adopting European concept of God. In Yoruba spirituality of IFA, even the Supreme Being consulted IFA for divination. In one case when he was troubled by the extreme powers of the negative forces of nature who brought a lot of suffering to humans. 1 Like |

Steep: It's until I studied and adopted Yoruba Ifa spirituality that I have very clear understanding of this world that we call Ile-Aye. Without trying to discredit other religion or spirituality, I don't think there is any other spirituality that provide a very deep knowledge of how the different elements of this world are interwoven. We need to first have a right conceptualization of the Supreme Being, the creation of earth, humans and other physical elements. Unfortunately most Africans have adopted European concept of the Suoreme Being, which says that God is benevolent, and thats why we are confused about so many things. But that attribute doesn't fit Yoruba concept of the Supreme Being. Here is why. As IFA says that "Tibi Tire La Da Ile-Aye", meaning that "We have created this Earth with Positive and Negative Forces". The task of creating humans and other lives and things on earth was assigned to 3 deities. After creating human beings called Eniyan, they also assigned the task of their good well beings to 400 รท 1 deities (i.e. Orisas). They now realized that, it was impractical to live in a world where everyone live in a state of constant goodness. In such state, humans would have no concept of evil and won't be aware of what it mean to be good. For this reason, they created 200 negative forces to counterpoint the positive forces. Among these negative forces called Ajoguns are deities for death, diseases, etc. This is necessary because in a world where everything is good, responsibility, purnishment, reward, importance of good character will be irrelevant, And whatever humans does in such state of 100% goodness will not be by choice or by free-will. Imagine that you are employed in a company where every employee are on a salary of $1 million, with no reward system for performance or penalty for poor performance. Therefore living in world of duality of positive and negative forces will allow humans to be able to pursue "Iwapele", which is good character. Sadly, humans have chosen to exhibit bad characters and a life of inflicting evil on one another. And this comes with responsibility and rewards for bad character that the 200 Ajoguns must see to. Though not all rewards for bad character are repaid in a single life. However, adopting Iwapele as a way of life will help humans get protection and rewards from the good forces of nature. Offering sacrifices to seek the favor of the positive forces is also a way to bring oneself under their protection. An obvious demonstration of the working of the duality of nature is seen in the jungle or savanna. In the world of animals and plants in such environments, if there is no death, there can't be life. |

jimmychang: Of course, you cannot recognize justice when you see it. You are raised in a society where there is almost none. You do as you like without repercussions for your actions. You all continue to roll in the mess you created for yourselves. 2 Likes |

paulolee: You call it destiny spoiler. It's called Justice. Being held responsible for your actions. That's why the Universe has thrown Nigeria into turmoil because Nigerians prefer not to be held responsible for their actions. And they collectively promote that in each other's lives. That's why there is so much chaos and imbalance in the country. This world is a world of balance. Actions and reactions. If you or a society stand in its way, you get crushed in the ensuing chaos. 17 Likes 1 Share |

I think it's a satire to just a point across. It's directed to the old bags wanting to be president. I will trust this grandmother more than the criminal on Bourdillon Street, who is claiming 69 even though he is close to his 80s.

The lady isn't his wife but his Baby-mama that am sure he doesn't live with. That guy is not a man but a boy. A man wouldn't deny his own child because of "pussi". He was trying to hit another woman and was exposed. I pity the guy life. He is done. You can't wrong a woman that way and expect to make it in life in one piece. Na everyday dem go dey send curse to you. Don't be surprised if he continues this habit until old age and end up on the street one day. |

illicit: You think they are there to help you? No, it doesn't work that way. They are there for their own interests, which include not allowing your country to have rest of mind and opportunity to prosper since that would reduce flow of resources out from Africa to the West. will be the no 1 international beneficiary if Nigeria break up. We like fooling ourselves. It may have been founded by Nigerians but all the investors are foreigners and their head office is surely not in Nigeria. Its in the USA. Meaning, these boys are working for some people thousands of miles away. Most of the profits made in Africa will be ploughed back to the West.

owagbeba: I doubt that. If that's so, who authorized Kyari since he was on suspension? Secondly, Kyari wouldn't have been arrested with his accomplices right away. Thirdly, the NPF boss wouldn't be demanding that NDLEA should also arrest drug trafficking accomplices within NDLEA that are involved in the shady deal. |
