Are Americans coming to Nigeria for kidney transplant or organ harvesting?

Vice President Kashim Shettima should not be beating his chest that Americans are coming to Nigeria for kidney transplant. Why kidney not heart, brain or spinal surgeries? This strange medical tourism should give Nigeria a cause for concern.

To me, it is not about the quality of our healthcare services or advancement of our medical equipment or expertise of our doctors, but availability of cheap organs for harvesting.

It is just the way some people travel miles into a deep forest to consult a babalawo in a derelict, off-grid shrine. Although there is no development in the forest, it is however believed to be a spiritual realm where physical and metaphysical remedies are available.

Owing to weak kinship ties and erosion of institution of marriage in Europe and America, it is difficult to get a donor in their countries. But in Nigeria, they found an organ farm with cheap and unregulated inputs.

At the time Senator Ike Ekweremadu is languishing in a UK prison for organ harvesting, our leaders are encouraging foreigners to come for a bumper harvest.

I currently work with a multinational company here in Nigeria, I have a son and my wife to take care of.

My wife is a ed nurse.

I want her to travel abroad for further studies, I have some savings already. And I eat. #1.5 m+ monthly.

Please can you suggest best countries she can go for studies and also with prospects of getting permanent residency soonest.

Well for me, I would tell you simply enrolled your wife to a German Language school in any of the Geothe Institute in Nigeria, let her learn till B1 level.

After the B1, then she can apply for Ausbildung in Hospitals in or for a direct placement.

Trust me, this doable and the easiest way without spending.

And all can move to together with the family for a family reunion process

but unfortunately my eVisa application was denied and 3 months after I got a refund for it.

To God who made me I don't understand this shit what the Bleep is going on

The new champions League format will not be home and away setting anymore but will be one way direction.
Each club will have the opportunity to 8 opponents on either home or away format. That is, no more home and away settings we are used to before. It is now a table format, top 8 teams now qualify for the next round automatically while the next 16 will go for the playoffs. There won't be any opportunity to go to the Europa League anymore.
I think this format is not sustainable but let's see how UEFA will sustain this. I expect modification soon, in the next 2yrs

This year Champions League draw using a Computer

The Champions League draws have always been a highly anticipated event, filled with excitement and suspense. In this season, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has introduced a computer-generated system to select teams for the group stages.

How it works:

- Teams are seeded based on their UEFA coefficients
- A computer algorithm randomly selects teams from each pot to create groups
- The system ensures no teams from the same country are in the same group

Benefits:

- Increased fairness and transparency
- Reduced bias and human error
- More competitive and balanced groups

The computer-generated system has added an extra layer of excitement to the draws, as teams and fans eagerly await the randomly selected matchups. While some may miss the traditional manual draw, the benefits of technology-driven selection are undeniable.

The New Draw Explanation:

The new champions League format will not be home and away setting anymore but will be one way direction.
Each club will have the opportunity to 8 opponents on either home or away format. That is, no more home and away settings we are used to before. It is now a table format, top 8 teams now qualify for the next round automatically while the next 16 will go for the playoffs. There won't be any opportunity to go to the Europa League anymore.

Do you think you think the manual is much better

For , There is Opportunity card. But still the waiting period for appointment is about 1 year or more.

And you need about 12,000€ as a block deposited in a German bank.

Which you would have about 900€ every month from it

Nah, the major barrier is getting the Visa appointment.

Waiting period for the visa appointment is approximately 1 year or more.

Except you hold a 1st class degree within the last 2 years or you are going for PhD program or hold a scholarship from EU body like DAAD.

If not, you have to wait for more than one year to get visa appointment.

And you would need a block of 11,200 Euro as a proof of fund, which cannot be withdraw. You would be given 850 euro monthly

Considering both CBN and Binance perspectives, it’s evident that there’s significant traceability of Binance s' transactions and the CBN’s apprehension regarding the origin of these transactions. This controversy highlights the challenges surrounding cryptocurrency regulation and the need for robust mechanisms to ensure compliance and prevent financial misconduct.

In light of this, authorities need to continue exploring avenues to track cryptocurrency transactions effectively while also promoting collaboration between regulatory bodies and cryptocurrency exchanges to uphold market integrity and mitigate illicit activities.

Again, Nigeria Happened To Me.

Battling toothache for weeks and running out of options with painkillers, I decided to visit the dental clinic at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.

The process was seamless, thanks largely to my very good friend who helped with identifying the right places to do things and even shot a video of me panicking before my extraction (I had a terrible experience some 22 years ago. I almost peed in my tros).

In under 4 hours, I was examined, did an X-ray scan, and got 4 extractions all at the cost of less than N30,000. In fact seeing the nice and good-humored female dentist who had me confessing to all the chocolates and sugarcanes I ate from time immemorial only cost me N530 (the N30 being service charge). Payments are fully automated, like the service too. My X-ray scan was transferred in real time before I got to the next unit.

Need I mention that everything happened in under 4 hours? The staff at the extraction unit were nice too. We cracked jokes until I saw a long needle that was going to go into my gums —I defaulted to my factory settings.

Like my experience with the National Orthopaedic Hospital Dala earlier last year, it's not to say that the system doesn't need improvement. It does. But it surely works, contrary to what we say every day.

To the wonderful humans of AKTH Dental Clinic, thank you!

Similar treatment at a private facility would cost between 5X-10X of what I spent.

Or in the saner climate as most people called abroad would have cost me 5000€ or more.

God bless Nigeria.

If it would deter investment opportunities.

Then accept their , but make sure there are all paid in the currency of the country (Naira) in which there are working.

I see no reasons why expatriate are been paid in dollar while there are working in Nigeria.

The double standard is much.

And also, always before giving the position to expatriate, the Nigeria labour union should make sure there is no local man to fill in the position first.

Awesome.

The management of the free trade zone/Nigeria maritime association should look into the environmental aspect of this new seaport.

The should not allow discharge of ballast water by ships in the area, except they have Ballast water management system installed and it in used to avoid the introduction of invasive species like zoo plankton, Zebra mussels, Vibrio Cholera that would contaminate the environment or prey on fishes around the coastal environment.

Majority of Port around the world are forcing large cargo ships to make use of ballast water management system to treat intake water and Port authority check always before those ships can discharge at berth.

The free trade zone constituents lots of environmental challenges especially with the refinery (flare systems), I hope the Lagos state government would enact a strict measures in protecting the free trade zone.

It's quite unfortunate lots of masses are moving to such places in the name of building estate and houses instead of them to be far away from that environment due to the hazardous nature of such a complex chemical process, refinery and fertilizer plus other industries there.

The discharge of Nox would be much, and this would definitely affect the health.

But hey We Nigerians are ignorant, we just want to cash out from a new environment that houses the largest single train refinery.

It's quite unfortunate sha
