Just watched NTA live from the National Assembly. One of the issues discussed was that Mrs. Bianca O. Ojukwu the wife of Ikemba the late Biafran leader refusing to honor the invitation to come for screening. Plz I want to ask: Is it not too early for her to involve in national issues. Is it OK for H of A, to call a woman who just lost her husband. Should Ndigbo allow her to go for national call?. Is this a dishonor to Ndigbo in general? Etc.

1. Ojukwu died on the 26th of November, 2011.

2. Bianca Ojukwu was among the 88  Ambassadorial Nominees sent to the Senate for confirmation.

3. The names of the nominees were presented on the floor of the Senate on the 6th of December, 2011.

4. Which means probably her nomination was sent to the house before her husband died.

5. Bianca did not "refuse" to honour the invitation to come for the screening. She's mourning so how could she have gone for the screening.

6. The Senate did not discuss that Bianca refused to honour the invitation. Instead the Senate agreed that given her circumstances, it understood why she wasn't at the screening.

7. The Senate also agreed that Bianca could be screened when appropriate.

Ok kids, cool cool temper! I USED to fly Arik until I just couldn't stomach their incompetence anymore. I flew Benin-Lagos and Benin-Abuja and vice versa. Their inefficiency at the Benin airport is something I wouldn't wish on my enemy! System break down, NEPA failure, delayed flights, rude staff, bribery and corruption etc.
