Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the state government will in the coming weeks release the audio -visual footages of the Rivers State Police Commissioner plotting with politicians on the methods to be adopted for the planned rigging of the December 10 rerun elections .

Flagging off the rehabilitation of the General Hospital, Abonnema in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area on Monday , Governor Wike noted that the audio-visual footages will be made public through different media platforms to expose the extreme rigging desires of the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) with the backing of the police and other security agencies .

He noted that the 600 policemen working with the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS ) in the state , the police commissioner has already distributed them to prominent APC leaders on a local government basis for the indiscriminate arrests of PDP ers few days to the election .

The governor added that the 600 SARS personnel distributed would also be used to unleash unprecedented violence on the people on election day , so that APC leaders would have time to substitute results sheets handed over to them by the INEC leadership.

He said: “We are now in possession of the DVD of how the Police Commissioner and some politicians were planning on how to rig the forthcoming Legislative re-run elections in Rivers State . At the appropriate time , we shall release the materials for Nigerians to understand the depth of the Electoral fraud being perpetrated by INEC and Police.

“For the security of this all important audio-visual material , we have mass produced them and kept them at different locations . Nigerians are entitled to know the truth about the unfortunate rigging machine.”

The governor explained : “Now that we have caught them on tape, this will shake the world. Rivers State is not like other states where you can plot and execute easy rigging plans.

“We are ahead of them by 50 steps. If they take one step, we take 50. On behalf of our people , we shall continue to monitor these persons who are trying to steal the mandate of our people “.

Also on Monday , while flagging off the rehabilitation of General Hospital , Buguma , Governor Wike urged the people of Asari-Toru and Akuku-Toru Local Government Areas to continue to PDP and vote all PDP candidates during the rerun elections .

On Sunday night, there was a football match between and Portugal. I'm sure a lot of you watched it. I like to share something around that.
When next a game is on, take a look at the players, the referees, the linesmen and the spectators.
Out of all these category of people, the only people who don't wear a wrist watch are the players on the field.
They get into the pitch and play their hearts out knowing that even though they don't know the exact time, the exact minute the game will end and the whistle will be blown, they are conscious of the fact that the game will definitely end when the one holding the time blows his whistle.
I liken this to our race here on earth.
We are on the pitch of play called life.
And even though we all wear wrist watches, they are just a man-made device to guide our daily activities and give us a sense of timing. The one who holds time is somewhere waiting and watching us play our game on the pitch of life.
He has a whistle. When the time is up, by HIS own timing, He will blow the whistle and the game will be over and then winners and loosers will emerge and rewards will be given to deserving players.
It is only after the referee's whistle has sounded that I notice people weep or jubilate.
They cry and gnash their teeth because, it's all over! The game is over and the time is up! They weep because they see missed opportunities, missed scoring chances, but by that time, the time is up! The game is over.
And those who celebrate do so because they won the match. They were adjudged winners and deserving of the much - contested trophy.
Let me encourage you today, dear friends, that your wristwatch is not the time.
Oh no its not!
The time is with the one who created time and only HE determines when the time starts and stops for each one of us.
With this in mind, let's strive for mastery and reach for the goal as we play on the pitch of life...
The play is still on
I sense we have long returned from our half-time break.
I sense that we may perhaps be in our extra time, just incase we will capitalize on the extra time to hit the goal correctly....
Tick - tack-tick-tack... Time is going...
It is not our wristwatch that's reading, it's God's time ticking away....
Play your game well.
Play it with utmost concentration.
Shut out the spectators who are either cheering or jeering.
Keep your eyes on the goal post .
Don't forget, Jesus loves you. Cheers.!

Any day we declare public holiday we lose money, in practical the customs, our ports generates about N1 billion to N1.5 billion a day, so any day they say public holiday that is N1.5 billion gone. And Nigerians love holidays, if Christmas falls on Saturday we will say we want to have Monday as holiday but to us it’s a pain because we are now looking at it in of raw cash.

The presidency disclosed on Sunday, November 8, when Muhammadu Buhari
will finally swear in the ministers-designate.
After months of waiting for the new government to appoint the cabinet,
Nigerians are set to face the final event to crown the many-staged political
move, which is the swearing-in ceremony. According to the statement
released by presidential spokesman on Facebook, the ceremony will be held
on Wednesday.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will officially inaugurate a new Federal
Executive Council on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.
“Before the commencement of the inaugural session of the council, the
ministers-designate will take their oaths of office in the Council Chambers of
the presidential villa.
“The swearing-in ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 hours and the
ministers-designate are expected to be seated in the Council Chambers by
09:30 hours at the latest.
“Each minister-designate can only be accompanied to the swearing-in
ceremony by a maximum of two guests.
Also, following the confirmation of their nominations by the Senate, President
Buhari will tomorrow at the Presidential Villa, preside over the swearing-in of
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC), and five others as National Commissioners of INEC. The
swearing-in of Prof Yakubu, Mrs Amina Zakari, Mr Solomon Adedeji Soyebi,
Prof Antonia Taiye Okoosi-Simbine, Dr Muhammed Mustafa Lecky and Alhaji
Baba Shettima Arfo is scheduled for 11:00 hours in the Council Chambers of
the presidential villa.”
It should be recalled that Buhari has been criticized over the delay in
appointing the cabinet. The country leader even received the name “Baba Go
Slow”. The president, however, explained that there should be no rush in
making such important political decisions.
Buhari, who was inaugurated on May 29, took his 36 ministers on a retreat
on Thursday and Friday.
