Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023

While on earth, Jesus once went into the temple to read as His customs was, and then the Scripture was given to Him. When He had opened it, He found the place where a prophecy was written concerning Him.

Luke 4:17-18 says,
And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised…

The important point to note here is, “…he found the place where it was written…”

He found a place where there was something written about his life and destiny.

You see, it is not just enough for us to read the Bible, it is important to identify what is written concerning us and our peculiar situation. The discovery of what is written about you in Scripture is key to the fulfilment of your destiny.

It is when you are able to make such a discovery that you are ushered into the fulfilment of God’s Purpose for your life.

From the Word of God, you should be able to answer the questions: “Who am I? What am I on earth for? What am I created for?”

When you discover what is written in Scripture concerning your life, it makes it easy for you to fulfil your destiny.

My counsel is: pray and study the Scriptures diligently. Look for what has been written about you in the Word.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

You are welcome to the fifth month of the year, 2023. The year, 2023 has been prophetically declared with the theme: “Light Has Come; and the Glory is Risen”.

In this Month of May, you shall experience a greater dimension of Light and risen Glory, in Jesus’ Name.


It has been made abundantly clear that the most reasonable way to begin anything in life is beginning with God. Starting with God from the very beginning is the surest way to success in life.



Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Now, after God, the next most reasonable way to begin a thing in life is to have a vision. Vision is a critical necessity for the beginning of every meaningful thing in life and destiny.

The question is: why is vision necessary?
In our study today, we shall be looking at one necessity of vision.

Divine Function happens at the frequency of human vision.
What man sees determines what God gives. From our anchor Scripture, it is evident that Divine Function happens at the frequency of human vision (Genesis 13:14-15)

So, if God will give it, man must first see it. If God will do it, man must see it.

Furthermore, in the journey of vision, it is most appropriate that one should start from spiritual vision before proceeding to material vision.

For example, before you can say you want to build a house for yourself, you should first think of what to do for the Kingdom of God (Matt. 6:33). You must seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness before you talk about doing other things for yourself.

Beloved, the questions to ponder are: what do you want to become in God? What do you want to do with God? And what do you want God to do with you? Make up your mind to seek God and His Kingdom first, and all other things shall be added unto you.

One personality who changed his world through the tithe was John D. Rockefeller. He was the genius behind the Standard Oil in United States of America. He was the first dollar billionaire in the history of USA or probably in the history of the world. He tithed from the first one dollar he had and continued in the covenant practice.

Our God is a speaking God. He is more interested in speaking than most people are interested in hearing. God is eager to speak to us more than we are eager to hear from Him.

The point is not whether God is speaking; the issue is whether man is listening to hear what God is saying.


Now, I want you to take note of these two critical facts:

God is always speaking.
God is not talkative, but He is always saying something. God is always speaking.

Matthew 4:4 says,
But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

We understand from this Scripture that Words usually proceed from the Mouth of God. Words proceed continuously from God’s Mouth. This means, God is always saying something.

According to Job 33:14, God speaks once and twice. This means, God is always speaking. God is speaking again and again but man is not always listening to hear what God is saying.

Man must be deliberate to hear God.
We must be deliberate and decisive to hear God.

Psalms 85:5 says,
I will hear what God the Lord will speak:…

From the Scripture above, I will hear… implies, “I must make up my mind to hear what God is saying. My will and decision must be involved in hearing God. I must be determined to hear what God is speaking to me.”

Beloved, my counsel is, as God speaks, you must be deliberate, decisive and intentional to hear Him.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

The essence of our existence is to worship God. A major reason God allows our soul to live is so we can praise Him.

Our protection and preservation are anchored on our praise and worship to God. If you stop praising God, you are asking Him to stop protecting you.

You need to come to a point like the Psalmist who said, “O Lord, if You will give me life, I will give you praise. It is a deal. Let my soul live and it shall praise Thee.”(Psalm 119:175, Paraphrased).



Hezekiah received a prophecy from the Prophet Isaiah that he should set his house in order and get ready to die. The Scripture says Hezekiah lifted up his eyes and said, “Oh God, the grave cannot praise You. Only the living will praise You. Why are my days being cut off?” (Isaiah 38:18-22).

Then God told Isaiah, “Turn back and tell Hezekiah that fifteen more years are added to his life on earth; he just told me now that if he is kept alive, he would praise Me.”

God preserved Hezekiah because Hezekiah said that if his soul should live, it would praise God.

Beloved, praise is a key to longevity. Anytime death threatens your life, engage the weapon of praise to deal with it. Anytime you dream of seeing yourself dead, cancel it with praise to Jehovah. If you will praise God, He will let your soul live.

When you consistently engage in praise, you will come to a point where you can only hear of what is killing others but it can never come near you. Praise guarantees your safety and preservation on earth.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

I heard a story some time ago. There was a judge who acted as judge over the case of his friend. In delivering the judgment, he found his friend culpable, and sentenced him for committing the offence.

The friend thought he (the judge) was going to be lenient because of their friendship, but that was not to be. The judge meted out the full weight of the law on his friend.

However, when he came down from the judgment seat, he told his friend, “Though I sentenced you, I will pay the price for you because we are friends. Let me bear the sentence.”

You see, this was exactly what Christ did for us. We were also condemned sinners left to bear the consequences of our sins, which are curses, spells, sicknesses, afflictions, death, etc. but Jesus came and took them all away.

Beloved, this revelation is key to our healing.

However, many people do not know what Jesus did for us on the Cross of Calvary. They are carrying sicknesses, afflictions, curses, spells, evil patterns, etc. that Jesus had already dealt with, and taken away on the Cross.

Matthew 8:17 says,
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Beloved, if you are carrying any negative thing that Jesus had already carried on the Cross of Calvary, today, it is uprooted out of your life in Jesus’ Name.

But you must believe that Christ’s Sacrifice and Death on the Cross of Calvary is a basis of your liberty and health.

SCRIPTURE: wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:9, 11.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God is a Cleanser and Purifier of the child of God.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

The Word of God is a Cleanser and Purifier of the child of God. When you hide the Word of God in your heart, you cannot sin against God (Psalm 119:9, 11).

John 15:3 says,
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.


Also, Ephesians 5:26 says,
“…that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word”

So, the Word of God is a cleanser, a cleaner, an eraser and purifier. Disconnection from Word equals establishment in filth, uncleanness and dirt.

Whatever keeps you in with the Word keeps you in with consistent cleansing. Criminals are who they are because they are out of touch with the Word of God. They harbour all manner of terrible thoughts and do wicked things because they are out of touch with God’s Word.

Now, what does it mean for the Word of God to be a cleanser?
The Word of God exerts a direct cleansing effect on the child of God.

The Word of God cleanses a person; it exerts a direct cleansing effect on the child of God.

The Scripture says:
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. Ephesians 5:26.

Just as a piece of cloth is thoroughly cleansed when dipped and washed in water, so is a child of God washed and cleansed when he comes under the cleansing power of the Word of God. So, the flow of God’s Word in your life has a direct cleansing effect.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

Hopelessness is a major weapon of the enemy. It is one device of the enemy to weaken God’s children. One critical fact about hopelessness is that life begins to lose value when hope is lost. But God onishes us not to lose our hope.

Ecclesiastes 9:4 says,
For to him that is ed to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

Hope means optimism, positivism. Don’t be negative; be positive. Don’t be pessimistic; be optimistic. Be confident of the fact that God is on the throne, and that things will change for the better. Be mindful of the fact that God who has done many good things for others will do the same for you.

Beloved, do not toy with hopelessness because people commit suicide in extreme cases of hopelessness.

The author, Zig Ziglar told a story about an experiment that was conducted using some rats. A group of rats were put inside a tall container like a plastic bucket and covered. Another group of rats were put inside another tall container but not covered.

Zig Ziglar said after sometime, the group of rats in the covered container all died but the ones with the uncovered container lived. It was discovered that as long as the rats in the open container kept seeing rays of light, they continued to live, but those in the covered container died because they couldn’t see light. They died because they lost hope, having no light.

So, hope imparts life and hopelessness brings death.

You see, as long as those other rats kept seeing the ray of light, they were confident that there was hope of coming out. They were convinced that one day, their captivity would be over, so they lived.

But those that saw only darkness died because they lost the hope that could have sustained their lives.

Refuse to be discouraged in life. Keep hope alive despite what you are ing through.
