Your Excellency Sir, Permit me to other notable Nigerians in sending my condolences to you over the ing away of your father, Your father truly lived a worthy life and presently he his left with the good legacy he left behind, there is a great lesson for all which is we won’t be here forever but our legacy will remain. Your Excellency, I won’t like to bore you with lengthy words as I am aware of your busy schedule, I am writing to the voice of thousands of Ogun state indigenes to express my displeasure on the condition of roads in the state. I don’t know if you are aware, most of the roads in the state are no longer motorable and crying for repair particularly those at the border areas, it is so bad that going from Ogun state to Lagos you can tell where Ogun state ends and Lagos state begins base on the condition of the road. The condition of this roads has brought many hardship to the residents, transportation fare is three times what it used to be, and even people with cars can no longer take them out as much is spent on repairs. There is hardly a day without breakdowns, which is now becoming a norms. Your Excellency sir, it is pertinent to say that most of these affected areas (Sango, Ijoko, Oju ore, Agbado, Ope Ilu, Lambe, Agbara, Igbesa etc.) are of untold economic importance to the state considering their proximity to Lagos, however the conditions of this roads continue to drive away investors, to tell you how bad it is you can’t even find a bank in the area listed above due to the bad road, even the massive railway station at Agbado is left idle as investors are not willing to come. Your Excellency sir, as the gateway state, I believe we can do better than this. If truly Ogun state does not have the money to fix this roads as you have said, a tolling system could be adopted for a period of time, what the people want is just a better Life, your people wants to feel your positive impacts and enjoy the dividend of democracy, as I stated at the beginning of my letter if you can do all of these (fixing of roads) and more posterity would be fair to you. Thank You Sir, God bless Ogun State, God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria! 1 Share |

O you who believe, be persistently standing firm in justice as witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. Follow not your desires, lest you not be just. If you distort your testimony or refuse to give it, then Allah is aware of what you do.
