I thought both were together. Can you explain the difference and which is better.

Is jumia a business name and a company or just a company.

Hello guys, please i need as much help and advice as I can get. I am planning on ing a company tech related business to enable me get API for payment and financial services but I would have to have a registed company to enable me do that.

So my issue I want to a company + business name (Not the enterprise only)

I want to to know the best way to go about it and mistake to avoid with CAC and the registry.

Since it's a company and my startup can i be the only director pending while it grows so I can add other directors

In term of shares would that be necessary since I am solely responsible for now and a startup do the shares really matter.

Can I the company in a way that's would help me add other services that I can provide without affecting me base on how I ed. Eg can company XYZ be into construction of road, production and sale cars, real estate and also be into agriculture at the same time with same company name + registration.

Every advice and help would be highly appreciated. Since this is a startup every money counts that's why i am here because a CAC agent is charging me about 150k which is much for me right now + other fees.

Thanks

Please help me Push this to the front page.

You should tell your Yoruba people that always sees anything that involves Igbos as a competition, tribal war and pull them down syndrome. You will not see them in any Housa/Fulani thread but when it is Igbo they will land like vultures and pigs they are to masturbate on Igbo matter

For the sake of clearity and peace I apologize if anyone has made you feel less or bad base on tribal matters. If people go low you go high. Lack of expose or enlightenment is one of the problem we have in Nigeria. If you have lived outside Nigeria you will find out that our diversity is only a problem with the walls of the country. Nigerian are Nigerian outside nothing like igbo, yoruba or hausa. So let try and educate and correct the tribalism mentality. Even if we separate this idealogy will be a problem for all of us to grow if we don't respect each other

Everything on naira shouldn't be drawn on tribal and sentimental lines. The guy did wrong. He isn't the only one called our a northerner was called and now Stella ODUA but we rather turn it to a political and tribal war that see crime for what it is.

I have a mixed feeling on my relocation to Nigeria after living in Europe for about 10 years working as an engineer but paying so much in taxes (over 50%). It was also very difficult to save any money from what is left after tax, due to very high housing and living cost. You end up living from hand to mouth because of the numerous bills you have to pay..

I got a job in Nigeria to do thesame type of job I was doing in Europe before relocating, so this made my decision easier.

Regrets: Concerned about the insecurity and the fact that nothing works here. I hope to retire in Nigeria in 20 yrs time and hope there would still be a country then.

Consolation: I save alot of money working here in Nigeria than I did in Europe. Things are so much cheaper here despite the inflation problem.

I made the move mostly because of retirement plans.

If you have any job opportunities I am interested

What is the difference between them. I was hoping on getting a notch or waterdrop display.

I actually saw a colleagues. Redmi note 7 and I like the way it feels in the hand

Hello guys. Good morning. I really need to something and in need of you candid opinion. For some time they has been hype around the Redmi note 7. Which I saw on yesterday the 2GB Ram variant. Which I am not sure is legit because every other one around and even on aliexpress is the 3GB variant. I want to know if anyone has gotten it from jumia before or used it. Or should I just go for the Tecno spark 3 pro.

And I want to go for either the 2GB Redmi note 7 and Tecno spark 3 pro because of the Price is below 42k naira.

Adamsking(m): 7:35am On May 21, 2019

Adamsking(m): 12:42am On Apr 21, 2019
I get everything you guys are saying from the critics to the . But as individuals can we all come together lobby this phone companies in Nigeria the likes of infinix, tecno and Itel tillk they do the right thing. Most people might not have the money to buy Samsung and other that does not give a company the right to cheat or sell crap to us in the name of cheap or market value. With nigerias population they make more from the quantity they give us compared to the quality. So it's not about now its about the change we want to achieve
Adamsking(m): 1:40pm On Apr 19, 2019
I think we should boycott them. With our population we can do a lot of things. From nairaland to their page's and handles

Hello Nairalanders. It's time to put tecno and other products in there place. With the huge market they have in Nigeria they cant give us crappy products at outrageous prices or huddling products so boost their sales on a specific variant.. I know some people might not like this but it's the truth. When their camon 11 and 11 pro where release they pushed only the pro version into the market while holding back the normal version even at an expensive price and now they are doing the same with the spark 3. In the time who should still be using a 1GB Ram phone or 3G phone now. And at stupid prices when the world is going 4G and 5G and higher Ram. Your Facebook app and WhatsApp alone would eat up almost all the Ram space. So people let's come together and kick against them am thing we use Twitter, Facebook and other social networks to air our anger, call out all their promoters and ers till the right thing is done.

Pro-Buhari Hackers Target and Shut down Atiku on-line platforms – TAAP Alleges
Pro – Buhari hackers have succeeded in shutting down on-line Atiku Abubakar groups, Web sites and social media infrastructure, report alleges.
These findings were ed by the interim report of an internal audit carried out by The Atiku Advancement Project, an umbrella social media movement, comprising over 10,000 pro-PDP, pro-Atiku youth groups in the South-south geo-political zone.
In the audit report, cyber security audit firm FireEye wrote that malware used in the attack appears to be specifically designed to flood servers with vast amounts of spam, and bogus registration queries, the aim of the attacks was to overwhelm server capacity, ultimately forcing a system crash under the avalanche of useless data.
A statement released to journalists in Abuja today by Barrister Soalabo W. West is the National Coordinator of The Atiku Advancement Project (TAAP) alleged that concerted efforts were sponsored by pro-Buhari hackers to falsely and dubiously flag and report sites identified as belonging to perceived political opponents, to hosting authorities, to cause damage or at the very least a disruption in service provision, adding that hackers first took control of some social media s d to The Atiku Advancement Project in November 2018 prompting the Management Team to initiate an internal investigation.
According to him, “alerts were subsequently issued by several other pro-Atiku, pro- PDP groups warning of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure sites. This paints a very dark picture as most system s don’t even get to know about unauthorized access until operations are disrupted.”
With the cyberspace now being ground zero for the political wars of the future and if history is a prologue, more hackers will now start looking into the possibilities of compromising the social media infrastructure of perceived opponents. “This is a watershed moment,” said Helen Udekwu, Jr, the overseas co-chair and head of threat intelligence at The Atiku Advancement Project, She added that, “Others will eventually catch up and try to copy this kind of attack.” she opined.
The audit committee chaired by the Executive Director of TAAP Atiku Campaign, Mr. Mark A. Upaa, resolved to leave no stone unturned in the exposure of the miscreants responsible for the dastardly cyber attacks, vowing that at the conclusion of the investigation all details of the cyber attacks will be made available.
“We are awaiting the response from FaceBook as well as some of our other service providers”, “this will give us a clearer picture as well as enable us mount a vigorous defense against such vicious attacks next time.”
Helen Udekwu, also added, these move of the hackers on the APC media team can be likened to a ‘drowning man clutching at straw’
“The online Buharists have read the writing on the wall and they are panicking. The APC has been measured on the scale of equity and found wanting, they will surely be voted out on Saturday, during free and fair, non-violent elections.” Helen asserted.
