masterfactor: Thank you so much. I wanted to refute his claims despite being here in Enugu State, that Gariki and even the Old Artesan are being run by the Igbos as Chairmen of the markets. 1 Like |

StJasper: Don't take him serious. The Principal, Hon. Lado knows that it's efforts in futility. For fairness and equity, it's the turn of the Yewa/Awori (Ogun West Senatorial District). And hopefully, they won't miss out again this time around. OGD tried then to bring in GNI when their chances were brighter in 2011 general elections with PDP but was thwarted by OBJ using Rtd. General Adetunji Olurin which later resulted to choose another party then, PPN. Though GNI later contested under PDP in 2015 but lost to the then incumbent, Senator Ibikunle Amosun. He contested again in 2019 under ADC, and lost to the incumbent Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun. GNI is presently now in the House of Representatives. But in all, I'm rooting for a solid man from Ogun West. 1 Like |

Bigboytinz: Mr Enang also announced that an amendment to bill number 16, already assented to by the President, will now ensure that a vice President or a deputy governor who succeeds and completes the tenure of a president or governor can only run for the office one more time. “The other one is Act or Bill number 16 which is now an act and the intent of that act is to ensure that where a Vice President succeeds that president and where a deputy governor succeeds a governor, he can no more contest for that office more than once more. “And the fact is that having taken the oath as President once, and you can only contest for once again and no more. That is the intent of this amendment.” Before this assent, such vice presidents or deputy governors, after completion of their predecessors’ term can run for office on another two . This was the case with former President Goodluck Jonathan who succeeded President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua in 2010, contested and won the presidential election in 2011 and still contested same office in 2015. The new law will prohibit this, Mr Enang announced. It was assented to law under fPMB in June, 2018. Thank you for the information sir. God bless you sir! |

Samogloby: And PDP never induced voters with money? C'mon, we can all pretend like we don't know the reality. Both major leading political have been doing this since the 4th Republic started. And we all know the party in power will have more financial strength, than some trying to find his way to begin his own stealing of our collective patrimony. Had it been they're both trying to contest for the first time, the outgoing Governor won't like to take much gamble from what he has stolen, he man who's trying to succeed him will needs like 80% contributions to his own personal ambition. This is where Hon. Ajayi is at a disadvantage, 'cos Gov. Aiyedatiwa got direct access to State funds. Because I know Hon. Alfred Agboola Ajayi is a grassroots man too. Hopefully, he can now relax since Ajayi has been in the system since 1999. Gov. Lucky just came in 2011. 😆😊 |

Bigboytinz: How? When former President GEJ was sworn-in as the President after the demise of Late President Umaru Musa Yar'adua, he seeks for his own election which he got in 2011 but got defeated in 2015 after seeking for re-election. So, ho will Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa own be different? I believed he completed his t ticket term with Later Governor Aketi. Now, he's contesting freshly for his first term in office. I seek for clarity from you, thank you sir. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hope you ed Atiku Abubakar came distant third with his Dollars? 😂 Oga, you're overating Alhaji AA, but all that's still working for him is the financial war chest in his possession.. 1 Like |

waveman2: Why una no calculate PDP own ? Na 15K. Irrespective how it seems you perturbed about the whole situation, we all know the puerile conditions of Nigerians presently, and you won't have advice them (eligible voters ) to let those crooked politicians take away the money and return it to their coffers, when you know they'll still steal from you whether you like it or not. Let them people of Ondo decides on the lesser evil amongst the candidates. |
