The matter at hand is a straight one if you want advice to do what is right, Obviously you know deep down in your heart that you have offended God so firstly, you need to ask God for mercy and forgiveness of your sins. Secondly you are a big cheat and disappointment to your spouse - Pastor and it will be very wise, been the right thing to do, you tell him of your escapades and also beg him for his forgiveness, obviously he'll break the relationship, nevertheless, if as a minister of God, God ask him to forgive you and still go ahead with the marriage it is a possibility because that is what most of us are to God and he still shows us mercy. Lastly, I want you to know also that the wages of sin is death, It will not help you if you try to abort the baby, the right thing in order not to shed innocent blood is to have the baby. The child is the consequence of the life you lived, so brace up to have your child and the challenges associated with trying to break up another woman's home because you may not have the peace and love you'll desire in life.
It is not an easy path, but it is the path that leads to righteousness and life.

In the real sense of it Pastor's are not paid. They are only given stipends to carter for essential needs and that comes from the sacrifices on the alter. The sacrifices could be VOWS, OFFERINGS, TITHES and FREE-WILL DONATIONS. Every pastors sincere and faithful work with God is what actually brings about their reward - PAY. This could be seen as the Pastor's HONOUR, that is why the bible clearly says that 'he that that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward.If one honours a genuine pastor and gives him a suit, the same person will surely receive a reward from God.

MAYOWAAK: I am aware that many of us were fed with stories of pregnancies trapped in women for 3 years by witches and wizards. Perhaps I expected too much by assuming we have outgrown such stories. It seems my assumption is incorrect. Now, a foetus is said to be at term after completing 37 weeks in the uterus of its mother. Some are born before this 37 weeks. These are the premature babies(provided they have attained the age of viability - this varies depending on how sophisticated Neonatal care is in that society. Age of viability in America and Britain is 24 completed weeks of gestation. Someone once mentioned that it is about 20 weeks in Australia(I'm not sure). Age of viability in Nigeria is 28 weeks. These premature babies stand a good chance of survival with proper neonatal care. As there are babies who 'make haste' to leave the womb - the premature ones I just talked about - so are there those who stay beyond their due date. The longer they remain in the womb, the higher the risks of placenta insufficiency (that effectively starves them of nutrients and oxygen), infections and demise. This risks get considerably high by 4 weeks post-date such that even the most optimistic obstetrician would induce labour or deliver the baby by Caesarian section. So, when a clown comes around to tell us she was pregnant for 25 months. We have every right to get angry for attempting to insult our sensibilities. Before even the 11th month, the foetus would have died, become macerated, and caused grave complications like overwhelming sepsis, diseminated intravascular coagulopathy etc in the mother. Without serious intervention, even the mother would be no more. Don't swallow all I have said cos I am no authority in this field. with the aim of finding faults. I am a learner too. But certain things are stupid even to an apprentice.

You maybe an expert in medicine but your knowledge in medicine is very limited. My sister had her baby over 24 months of pregnancy. These things that are written of are real and do happen. If you you have not seen doesn't mean they dont happen, what else can one say? I was in Benin City as a student when I came in first hand at mission road with a man who was brought out to the public to expose the evil he was perpertrating to the unborn child of his 8 months pregnant wife. While they are asleep every mid night, the man confessed taking the child in his wife womb to the coven of there meeting and while the wife noticed her flat tommy, she took to her heels and when he returned back in the morning and could find the wife he had to carry the 8 months pregnancy. What I'm I saying, there is alot of evil happening around and not documented. I pray heaven to open your eyes to the evil upon the face of the earth.

nep2ra: I think he's right when he says CU wasn't built from Tithes and Offerings. I'm aware there were SPECIAL SEEDS sown towards the building of the University. People paid SACRIFICIAL OFFERINGS and paid VOWS. These are different from the regular tithes and offerings.
If he claims none of these went to the building of the University then that means he built it from his own capital and that makes it his university and not the church's own.

Paying sacrificial offering, tithes, project seeds, giving to Missions are all Offerings, that is why the bible clearly said "Present yourselves as living sacrifices (Offerings), holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service - Roms 12:1.

stagger: The issue with many Nigerians is that they bother themselves with irrelevant stuff. Covenant University was not built with tithes and offerings.

As at June 2009 when ASUU was trying to get the government to honour their 2001 agreement, Covenant University was paying Professors N13million per annum. I am not sure any university in Nigeria pays salaries to the degree CU pays. Not to talk of amenities, etc.

Bishop Oyedepo has many income sources he will never come out to say and he is not obliged to explain to anybody. I know a year he received so many car gifts that they were eventually auctioned to church because they were too many.

I was worship in Living Faith Church, Ota in the year 2002 after my youth service waiting for employment opportunities and vividly the church raising money to build Convenant University. The Special seed to be paid to the church was according to parish ability and envelops where given on which was written "CUP" meaning Convenant University Project. Every month parish gave for this project.

As a Christian, and one who truly believes in Biblical principles, my advice one is for you to pray to GOD sincerely from the bottom of your heart for direction on what to do. I want to believe that this marriage was contracted with very little godly counsel, otherwise your wife ought to know that what she is doing is rebellion, and it is as the sin of witchcraftry and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry (1 Sam 15:22-23). Again, the Bible commands the man to LOVE his wife, perhaps you are not showing her enough love which makes her not to have confidence in your faith and wants to continue were she trusts. Lastly, on the insinuation of your wife possibly having a romance with a priest suggest their is no trust in the marriage, otherwise you will be bold enough to confront, discuss such issues politely without getting on each others nerves. I know you have work in your hand in this marriage...be prepared to work it out!!!
