No point going to vfs when you've not been sent a collection mail. Your best bet is to send a paid email or patiently wait for collection mail. Add prayer to your waiting to. All things are possible. All the best

@cashmadam,Please I need your advice here ,I and my wife did our biometrics on the 15 of April and up to now we haven't gotten any mail ,I tried doing a paid call and the line keep engaging and cuts off also tried doing paid mail and it's not accepting my debit card to go..
Can I go to the VFS office and ask about it or should I still wait ..

I tried doing paid mail too this afternoon and while I type my debit card number,my card number is longer than the space given to fill and it never allow me to proceed.....I just tire ooooo.

(1) Is it posssible to go to the vfs office without a letter from ukvi or vfs

(2)will they allow me in and also what will I do for them attend to me.

No refusal reason. Send a paid mail to UKVI to get the refusal reasons.

I think if they want to refuse ,,they should have by now ... maybe they are ing a document or might be a technical issue lets be hopefull.... did you get any email like this cos i got it on wednesday ( Your UK visa application is currently under consideration )

Decision email yesterday 8th May.
Collected today 9th May.

It was successful.
2 yrs given

I got 6 months, which I used once last year after 2 previous refusals. After my last year UK visit, I've also made 2 separate Euro trips.

I applied with the usual documents, but didn't write cover letter this time around. Last year I wrote detailed cover letter addressing previous refusals. This time, I packaged my thoughts in the extra notes column at the last section of the form.

Documents
- hotel reservation
- employment letter
- promotion letter
- letter from employer indicating I've been approved to go on leave and also that employer is sponsoring the vacation.
- Employer statement
- Employer CAC documents & tax clearance.
- 4 months personal statement with 2m plus.
- 6 months personal USD statement with $3,000 plus.
- family documents -marriage and children birth certificates.
- previous visas and stamps.
- pictures taken during previous travel and also that of family.
- monthly expense declaration of 1m.
- budget for trip 3,500 pounds.
-Personal amount committed towards trip 500 pounds.

Did not put cover letter, ticket reservation, pension , personal tax clearance and landed property this time around eventhough I put all of them for my 1st UK visa last year.

I saw space to educational qualifications, which I'm not sure I noticed and ed in time past. Anyways, I ed my BSc & MSc cert there.

my wife and kids did biometrics since on the wednesday 16th of april as well , till now no refusal email no vfs email the only email update was on wednesday 7th may ( Your UK visa application is currently under consideration )

Hello guys, I got this refusal letter this morning. I need to know your thoughts. This is my third refusal, i made sure to address each reason on the previous denial on my previous 2 applications. I have been to Maldvies, Ghana, Seychelles, Mauritius, Qatar and South Africa.
