The Flying Eagles, Nigeria's U-20 national football team, are preparing for a challenging group stage at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.

Following the group-stage draw announced by FIFA, the 24-team tournament has placed Nigeria in Group F alongside Norway, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia, promising intense matches as the young Nigerian squad aims to build on their recent success and make a mark on the global stage.

The Flying Eagles are a powerhouse in youth football, serving as a key talent pipeline for Nigeria's senior national team, the Super Eagles and have high hopes ahead of the tournament.

We don't have team o with these boys before heart break go set in. They should rebuild by them playing local clubs and be picking for weak areas. That's what Fani Amu did won under 17

If we play the way we did in Africa group state is our final bus stop, no tactics or style at all

1. Saudi can be good if they have a coach that frees them to play their style, and does not make them too defensive.

2. Norway, hehehe. Today, we think they are weak, tomorrow they beat you 2-1. We better be careful.

They did get to the semis of a very tough African U20 championship.

That championship, which was available for free on Youtube...was tough. 1-0 was the most common scoreline. Nigeria went out in the semis on a 1-0 to south africa. Morroco needed penalties to reach the final.

They did play local clubs.

The problem we have is that our local teams don't have youth squads, unlike in South Africa, where teams like Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs have good U20 sides. ...and the SAFA has a competition for all its youth squads. That's a big part of why SA is doing well recently.

We could say that for most of the other countries. Only one can win the cup.

Taking your analogy to its hard extreme, people should stop working hard in school because only one person can be first in class. cheesy

In life you don't give up. That's the lesson in football, and in many areas of life. Just because someone from your side never win am, does not mean you can't be the first to do so.

Good morning, and moderate your language sometimes.

I didn't say they are not good!

At least we are on equal footing with Norway and Saudi.

2-1 is still a little bit like luck!

Columbia is a more rounded balling nation!
