This one go Still use CHATGPT to teach there students
Especially the subscription one. AI has made learning this stuff so much easier. ChatGPT can provide you with a detailed course outline and guide you through everything. It’s amazing how people are still paying to learn software engineering in this AI era

@Obaidan,

What do you mean by unrealistic?
Are you saying that all of the persons mentioned there aren't real?
Do not discourage people from pursuing their dreams in life. People like you were the skeptics when alumni like Mariam, who works in a senior role with Sourcegraph (headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA), came to the bootcamp. If Mariam had listened to individuals like you, she would not be where she is today; last year, she was named a global Tech hero!

obaidan:
Software Development is cool, lucrative and all. But you need to stop baiting innocent people looking for way out with this unrealistic promises. It's even not realistic to master just data structure in 6 months, but u want to make them software developer before the end of 2025.

I hope for God, that one day we'll have an ERP, developed in Africa.
I think the competition in this field is way too ahead. African businesses won't just switch to an erp because it is local but the erp must be able to compete

If you're genuine and your intentions are honourable, you wouldnt block him from engaging you in a conversation, he never said your graduates are not real, he simply pointed out to you that the promise of making software developer in 6 months is unrealistic. He even said your product/service is a good one that will sell on a good day and you don't have to give create expectations that are unreal. And you don't even sound like you know what you're talking. now you go ahead and block me too

He was just derailing the post.

From the post , it is evidenced enough for everybody to see that we are achieving the results; it is not a marketing gimmicks. Moreover, he isn't a prospective participant as he once claimed to be an IT specialist but he is limited by his knowledge.

The issue here is that we are breaking down the entry barrier to this profession. And, some of those who have worked hard for years to get to where they are now are disappointed to see some of our graduates who have only spent a few months/years getting there!

We hope that more people interested in becoming developers can discern this and make an informed decision.

Please, what is achieved here is through pure dedication over the years .

If you can see all these people listed here and many more not listed working in global tech companies coming from one single place in Nigeria.

Nigerians, don't pull down a global organisation created by your people because of your ulterior motive even if you cannot . Please just keep quiet. The bootcamp is for those interested.

From my investigation, you all will be shocked that this program is just 3months!

"THREE MONTHS" for a "Fullstack Development Program" which includes both web development and backend (frontend & backend combined) 👀🤦

And, from your investigation ; you cannot deduce that this is an innovation.

Innovation is defined as the process of bringing about new ideas, methods, products, services, or solutions that have a significant positive impact and value. It involves transforming creative concepts into tangible outcomes that improve efficiency, and effectiveness, or address unmet needs.

That is where Nigerians are falling behind, what you failed to recognize they are seeing it outside the country. Organizations and individuals outside Nigeria are reaching out to us. For example; last year, on the invitation of the Mayor of Moscow , we were in Russia where we signed a partnership agreement with Moscow Innovation Agency ( a development institute responsible for creating a truly favourable environment for the advancement of technology in Moscow; a one-stop shop for Moscow's innovation ecosystem.

Below is a shot clip of the event, right there is Abiola Ilupeju ( Principal Consultant , Moat Academy).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKvqyEpg7HU?si=U_Qw9h57gA5Yvc-b

Today, over 60% of our alumni are not working for companies in Nigeria, they are either based in those countries or working remotely, leading teams.

Please let those that are interested apply and take your negativity away .
