He proved to his white ogas that he is current and aware of what many candidates are doing. Which will help him during promotion/performance evaluation talks. He owes you no loyalty

Those Oga and the same company won't defend him, might even sack him if he's reported.

Discrimination and stereotyping of any form is not allowed

Don't mind him his time would come.

Demarketing Nigeria is like demarketing yourself. When it's time to sack him, they will claim one of his credentials did not check out.

And nobody will trust him in that organisation after that comment.

Even if he had not asked that question, I believed other races there would still going to ask cos it's not new to all the boards or individuals there.

OK ,

we are sure he asked others who came for the interview the same question ,

he was doing his job ,

don't forget that the people who employed him too ,will want to see how he will act towards you ,since you are from the same country.

and you don't know the company experience with their ex Nigerian workers.

so overlook his statement..as long as you are real with your CV

If you meet a fellow nigerian in an interview in a foreign soil, that may be the end of the road for you.

Nigerians are so evil to one another. This is from personal experiences and experiences of many others that I know personally

Nigerians!! Why??

The same whites that we say are racists are the ones that are best to meet at interviews, but meeting a fellow Nigerian, that particular Nigerian would be the one to stress you all out the most among the people in the

Know this and know peace.
Your worst enemy as a Teacher is other Teachers. As a student, your worst enemy is other students and as a Nigerian, your worst enemies are other Nigerians in a foreign land.

That's not the way it works abroad, at least in UK. That's discrimination and he, the interviewer could lose his job for asking such a question. If someone has Nigerian looking names, you can't still use it to identify them. By saying "those Nigerians", the interviewer has picked up on a group of people, even if his suspicion may be true and discriminatd against them. It doesn't look like he went through any HR training, Human Resources and Human Rights. That question alone has violated UK employment law. The interviewee can sue the company and win. E think say na Naija he dey. Foolish question. ITK

I take all these online stories with a pinch of salt. Let's all be cruising, ship go dock.

Sounds like de-marketing,but again it is what it is…
You can call it de marketing, but you can also call protecting the company, but two truth can coexist
If your son is an unrepentant thief, calling him out can serve to drive home your displeasure over his activities. It can also serve to protect your integrity because people are quick to assume that he was made from same fabric as yours

We all know the group of Nigerians who would rather break a ladder after climbing up with it than see another Nigerian use the same ladder.

They go to Rome and try to teach the Pope how to break bread and serve communion.

They want to be seen by the Westerners as the defenders of civilization and the gatekeepers of immigration. No one should have a port because they've secured theirs.

Nigerians abroad are a thriving community that build eachother brick by brick, sadly these set of Nigerians would rather use their bricks to stone those beneath them, than use it to build them.

Through the testimony of one, dependants were curtailed from travelling overseas, through the complaint of another, period of stay to gain permanent residence is now to be doubled.

They sabotage colleagues at work, serve as spies and render unsolicited negative s about their own kith and kin to managers....for no reason.
It's in them.

Any and everyone who lives anywhere overseas, would confirm that it is only one set of Nigerians that behave this way.
The unaccomodating landowners.

Most Nigerian bosses thinks interviews is interrogation l.

God bless you Mr Brown. Nigg interviewed me while we were walking down a street. He said, you are hired. Resume on Monday. I was like WTF. He said that was the interview. We need to know the real person without a and chairs asking dumb question.

We just conversed and nigg knew this guy had scopes and was smart

Can you stop with the N word

Because the Nigerian is aware of what you guys are capable of doing. Nigerians seems to have a perchant for impunity... That's what our politicians and civil servants taught us. If I am a HR person tasked with the responsibility for hiring, I will be extra careful hiring a Nigerian too. I won't be foolish enough to say derogatory things about any country or race publicly.

The reason they have different races in such interviews is cos they believe the interviewers to know what their different races is capable of doing, a Nigerian would know what another Nigerian is capable of doing for sure.

Not a Nigerian thing though. A lot of people lie on their cv worldwide

One American woman lied on her cv to land a job in television. Of course she was underperforming well well. Fortunately, her superior found her 'gumption' irable and assigned her to other duties. The woman went on to become a top tv producer..true story
Na who nor dey lie for CV raise your hand, this job I am presently doing na lie I lie, and I've been doing it for more than 3 years now.

An Indian will never do this. Most Indian students to beat the 20 hours per week get paid cash by their Indian employers. African employers will never do this to African students.

The issue is not the fact that he questioned your depth of skill and prospect of fulfilling your CV strength but the issue is stereotyping such to a certain Nationality, and that is the problem of some politicians in the UK that use a Nationality as a scapegoat and then score points for their political battle.

It's so cliche and lame to do such. Tackle the issue with the individual without basing it on where he comes . Even if there is a trend common with where he came from, be objective and then don't mention it in any form.

Just imagine the B.S,Blackman will always be the one to spoil the progress of a fellow black man. For the idiot mind now he wants to prove a point to his colleagues.

When we have a lot of black people with this stupid mentality of the interviewer,we will continue to see things like Gadaffis fall in Libya and Thomas sankaras death..Who do black man na?Will you forever throw your brother under the bus just so you can lick the balls of your white masters?

So as a fellow Nigerian he should lie and pretend that's not what most Nigerians do. Most Nigerians can't even defend the certificate they carry upandown looking for job and when they can't find an employer stupid enough to hire them they go back to school to get more certificates that they still can't defend until they become a professor in title with not impact on the society but end up taking a lecturer job and impact their cluelessness on the new student and the circle continues.
