Chairman, abeg share this your business idea na. I need other cool businesses to invest in.

6k daily will amount to over 1 million in 7 months. I only buy engine oil and make repairs above 10k. The riders are responsible for repairs less than 10k.

There is no rider that can consistently remit 6k for you daily without skipping or giving excuse some days, no matter how good the person is, even within the 1st 3 months of buying the bike new. Like I said earlier, you can not recoup the money you invested on a motorcycle within 7 months.

As for other better businesses one can do, when you are ready for business, you will have no option than to move out and mingle with real business people.

I started Okada business with my best friend during our ss3. As we finished secondary school, my friend moved to Europe through his brother's , while myself got ission and continued the Okada business, which I eventually grew to an enviable level by the time I was done with NYSC. I left it after NYSC and ed phone and computer accessories at computer village Ikeja. I can't be talking of drivers and their wahala today, when I have things I can import from China and make my money.

Meanwhile, before I finished my NYSC, my best friend who left our secondary school Okada partnership business for me to travel, was already shipping motor parts to Nigeria from Europe. Today, he is back to Nigeria doing the same motor parts importation business. Who have time to talk about drivers and their wahala, in the name of business.

With transport business, you can barely live a normal peaceful life. It's not like the business has a good prospect. While ur mates who are doing real business are buying land and developing it, urself will be dealing with headache from drivers. Na so one of my drivers got involved in robbery with my bike back then, community people carry him and my bike go dump for SARS. If no be the serious police wey I get back then, na so I for lost money or even get implicated in the matter then

Crazy experience!
That business is for agberos (both young and old) , if you don't have it in you, don't venture into the business.

I sold the car at the best possible price with the help of my mechanic, and when I did my calculations again, I have lost 400k+ in the 7 months of that bad business, initiated absolutely on emotions.

You didn't allow him to suffer from the losses he caused the previous owner, you took in his lie hook and sinker.
Transport business is not for a faint hearted individuals. I sold one vehicle in 2023 and two towards the end of last year and one this year.

Baba I tot i can help a fellow human while make some ends meet too... He will continue with that fraudulent dealings, and he will eventually suffer irreplaceable loss or bad burnout.

Funny. But very bad in experience!

It is lucrative but you need iron balls to handle it.

2014 I bought a bike for okada business. The bike ed through the hands of EIGHT guys
each with a horrible story.

The 7th guy after owing me for a month went and printed his own obituary and pasted it around
my street. I got to his house for condolence only to meet his surprised parents.

The 8th guy had an accident with the bike and scattred it badly. He then pushed the bike early in
the morning and parked it under a mango tree that was beside my shop.
My shop was directly opposite an Ashewo house so when I came to the shop and saw the bike, I thought
it belonged to one of the ashewo customers.

Around 10am that morning I went out to buy food and as I was coming back the bike was still there
inside my mind I was thinking that how long this guy wan knack, na the whole day him go spend there?

Now I have a bad habit of reading vehicle number plates, most of the time I do it unconsciously.
So as I approached the mango tree, my eye unconsciously caught the number plate of the bike

My mind stopped for a second! I silently prayed that it should be a mistake but men, it was my bike.

I pushed it into the shop, got a mechanic to fix it and sold it.

The way I see it looks the hussle is pretty easier compare to the latter.
However,I don't know if there will be something like written contract agreement btw me and the hiree or I buy and hire them to abokis without any agreement

1 You have to know d location be used.

2 Deposit for hire and extra chargers in-case delayed

3 You will give it to near know person not unkown from far distance.

Even if you give it to Tebligh or S.U. or a conk Deeper Life member, na sorry go end am.

You don do your empowerment (constituency project ๐Ÿ˜) be dat.

Stories full ground.

He can change the engine of your keke and put bad one there. He will later on use your brand new engine to assemble his own.
Thatโ€™s one, out a million possible ways of swindlรญng you.

Thanks
This is part of the clue I seek.
As for number 2,You mean the hiree must deposit a certain amount daily before hire and in the case of late return he incur extra charge.
I won't be in possession of the barrow now.I plan to give them to those that will hire them and remit daily or weekly as we may agree
What do you suggest?

This one is another point that will scare me not to venture in this.buy keke give somebody to drive.Honestly I will reconsider my stance on this
But to be on a safer side the particulars of the keke will bear the chasis num or engine num na.every detail about the engine will be indicated in the particulars
So any engine number that didn't conform with the one on the particulars with me is a different engine.
That's where my problem with the keke driver wil start outside the normal daily balance wahala

Bike or keke business is good. I'm personally invested in such business. I have almost 10 bikes under my management and they all remit money on a daily basis.
I've been on it for close to 7 months now with less than 2 days of default.

I don't deal with the bike riders myself, instead I employed a manager who is very strict with them.

Any day you default, the bike will be taken from you. In a nutshell, I have my strategy and it's been working for about 7 months now.
Lucky you ๐Ÿ‘Œ, I can see brand new. All the best man ๐Ÿ™

Ur Mum is absolutely right. I want to beg you in the name of God or whatever you believe in, do not attempt to buy keke, okada or korope for someone to do daily deliver for u, you will regret it. U can do hire purchase and make sure there's a legal agreement in it. Transporters are extremely wicked when it comes to delivery. They would only ne faithful for just one week and the next week, they would start misbehaving. Ever since I bought my Korope since 2021 as a side hustle, I drive it only at Night cos I go to the office in yhe morning's. I have never given it to any idiot to be driving or do delivery for me. My korope is still in a good condition, the engine has never been dropped once. I guve it a good maintenance and that's y it's still very useful till date. Also, I make at least, over 10k on a daily basis every night. Sometimes, I might not make up to that amount sha if there are no engers. For Lagos, people no dey sleep o cos u go still see commuters coming from the Island going home at night. Na late hour I dey do most times till maybe 11 or 12 midnight.
This is the best ๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Don't.
I started my transport biz with this and I later quit this method, though I'm still in transport biz. Those riders will stress you out. They will be making money but won't pay you regularly whatever you agreed upon. Na to be chasing them up and down. One even sold my bike

The tickets and touts, are they not the same thing?
Why will you buy tickets and still settle agberos!
Rubyjade:
If you intend to drive it by yourself it is not a bad business but if you want to give it to somebody then you are on your own.

I think in transport business you buy ticket(s) from unoin everyday, settle police and tout.

Hiree will deposit number of days to be used and extra charges in-case of delayed, you must know d location.

Do not give anybody,if you cant handle it yourself - don't start it.
