Look at the gigantic and humongous Rocks Behind these houses. What if one or two roll out from there?
Is this not Risky?
Personally, I can't sleep with both eyes closed in a house like this.

This is Risky.

Its dangerous.

Aside from the rock getting rolled out by windstorm and killing the occupants of the building, how about the reptiles that live there? That's a niche for snakes. I mean highly venomous snakes.

Most of those rocks you see will remain there for eternity. They are firmly anchored deep within the earth.

The chances of them rolling as you imagine are nearly impossible, except through significant mechanical disturbances caused by heavy machinery during construction.

The most that can happen to them naturally is weathering, that is, the gradual wearing down of their surfaces over time.

Additionally, the houses aren’t as close as they appear in the picture

I love places like this, but the problem is scorpioms and snakes. They will always pay you visits.

Nature did!...through a process known as denudation. This has really shaped the Earth to the present day condition.
Indeed we can say nature is so talented with handi-work just as your Messi and C-Ronaldo doing their thing cheesy

How are you doing brother?

Many houses are built in terrains like this. These rocks have been like this for ages.

Those rocks have been there for more than ten thousand years without rolling over, nothing is going to make them rollover unless they're blasted.

So sorry about that.

I will gladly live in one built close to the rocks.

It has many advantages.

I believe people around there will have a coping mechanism n how to scare them away

Either that, or the snakes have seen their kith and kin being prepared for pepper soup and have wisely decided to avoid the area!

West of mines, it's a government establishment

I'll surely live. The weather will be cozy and I can climb the rocks to have a view of a 15storey building 😊

Hum! this is suicide mission.
I heard a similar story of a man who travelled from the northern side for contract. working in another state in the south, one night his wife called; calling him continuously in fear and trembling that 'a loud cracking sound was around the rocky hill surrounding their house.
In short, the man returned home unplanned. Behold, same morning he would have returned to work since nothing happed in the environment; neighbours ok, nothing happened, he was at the dinning with his family when the heavy rock started same sound of movement. In conclusion, he abandoned his house, and became a tenant till date.

Apart from Jos, this is also a common experience at Odode, Idanre, in Ondo State.

The people living there are used to the divinely majestically arranged rocks. It inpires beauty and awe. God's work is grandeur.

I doubt if the rocks ever fall! God is great.

OP

NO amount of windstorm can move any of those rocks....

Only a major earthquake or machinery can move those rocks...

There are places in the world where houses are actually built on top those rocks..... Not just at the base

Tornadoes would ..

But luckily, we don't get that here...

That sneaky does has to have the strength of superman, hulk, Thor and all other combined to move the rock just an inch..
