Even if this is true, most people with low scores would find it hard to believe and you cannot blame the candidates for JAMB's inefficiency!

Everyone must be allowed to voluntarily resit the exams, that's the only way to ensure fairness.
discusant: 9:30pm On May 15
Damage control propaganda has started.

Let the JAMB boss resign. That's how it's done in normal countries. Asking a select group of people to resit an exam is double punishment for the candidates after the manufactured glitch. JAMB boss knows the enormous physical and mental punishment being imposed on the candidates.

This thread is to set the records straight and stop the falsehood being propagated by some liars and bigots.

Majority of those affected by the JAMB glitch are Yoruba candidates in Lagos. Yet, the people of the South West are not crying about ethnic targeting because we understand that such technical glitch can occur. However, it is really very sad and annoying seeing some folks trying to use the unfortunate occurrence to score cheap points of bigotry.

The young boys and girls who wrote the exam are a strong part of Nigeria’s future. Why are some of these folks trying to poison their minds with seeds of division, hatred and victim mentality over a technical glitch? To what end? Politics? This is just so pathetic and sympathetic at the same time.

We have a big problem that politicians have created for us.

How can we raise our children here who are mindseted that the country hate them.

Am worried about the coming generation

You wrote very confidently that all the 206,000 candidates that sat in Lagos are Yoruba or were you having a seizure while writing?

And when they grow up fully and ask for a separate country from Nigeria, Nigeria's government set up the armed forces to kill them.
LofP(m): 9:37pm On May 15
If you have been paid to defend the government at least try to avoid taking some jobs because this point of view is ridiculous.

Imagine clumping Lagos & 5 South-Eastern states together and they had similar problems, and the problem had 16 iterations before it was remedied on the 17th loop, and you didn't have any issues elsewhere, but what clearly affects a whole region must not be analyzed because some parts of Lagos were affected too.

You know what you are. No one needs to tell you.

LofP(m): 9:42pm On May 15
Then instead of solving the problem using the software, you want to subject the students to a different test without adequate information and sensitization

Makes one wonder if the JAMB board is comprised of touts who have no emotional intelligence and situational awareness, when in reality they claim to be educated people.

Yes a technical issue that affects majorly a region.

Cut the BS of Lagos, unless Ogun , Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti was affected.

The region most affected has a right to cry.

Last year, it was Mmesoma who put JAMB on the spot, this time it's the glitch !
It's hard not to read internal sabotage into this.
The Registrar is humbled.
Instead of a resit, JAMB should just remark the earlier attempt of the candidates and give them their true scores.
Mmesoma put JAMB on the spot?

How? Are you trying to rewrite history

Why are you folk so pathologic

We had a young girl who was dishonest

Please help us understand the spin of internal sabotage in the Mmesoma episode

There was no internal sabotage. She tried to deceive everyone and was nabbed. She is old enough to have gone to jail for that

Do not even try that one it will not work

You said it Correctly 💯👍
But you know the Social Media Gaulibles Audiences is trying to say it in their hate and bitter manners.
Technical Glitches will come from time Immemorial but JAMB should always wait or Conduct An Audit Inspection Reports before rushing to declare the Results --So that any errors can be nibbed in the bud.

It is even more than that overall.
What about the ones that had 20-30 marks deducted from their scores due to dirty reasons.

I know most people think that Jamb is transparent but it's the opposite.
A lot happens underneath.

Oga go and sit somewhere, abeg.. check how many Yoruba candidates compare to non- Yorubas affected in Lagos? Majority are non- Yorubas

It's not very difficult to spot a Ronu WhatsApp group topic on Nairaland these days. This thread is an unnecessary effort towards damage control. Whether or not this "glitch" was a targeted attempt to victimize the Igbos should not be through topic of discussion. The most important thing to look into is the remedial efforts to prevent future occurrences of things like this. We need true justice in this country.

If this were a same country, a thorough investigation will be carried out on JAMBand the exam conduct of at least the last ten years to ascertain how much damage was done and the causes but here in Nigeria it's all about emotions and the ego of those in charge not forgetting religious sentiments undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided
