Northern Fulani Governors and Fulani Emirs are going to recruit Fulanis to kiill Hausas

Their wahala.

As long as they limit their madness up there, no problems.

The Hausas allowed the Fulanis to become cancerous to their region.

Now they must deal with it themselves.

When will state police and LGA autonomy be implemented
Audio government

Why you are like this? Anytime we try as Nigerian to move forward you will look for one irrelevant stuff to counter the good move?

What do you need state police for tell me? Don't you know the governors and LG chairmen etc will hijack it and use it against any perceived enemy and opposition.

People like you are caught in a pessimistic vicious cycle. Lonely and bitter.

Never ready to proffer solutions... just to pull everything down. And wonder why everyone left you alone in misery

So what should Tinubu do ? Leave the forests as hiding places for bandits ?

Naturally

Once you give anyone a gun in this country they immediately start seeing every civilian as a source of free cash. It's the same way people here believe they are entitled to steal from their employers and customers in addition to their salary, i.e. workchop

Hope they will be armed with proper assault rifles not the usual pump action, if not, it will be a slaughter.
discusant: 9:20pm On May 15
...and they will be better armed than Nigeria's armed forces to confront heavily armed Fulani herdsmen and their co-Islamic extremist insurgents?
Another diversionary effort in their struggle for an Islamic Republic of Nigeria. A country where truth is buried underneath.
Fulani herdsmen know that cattle is no more reared through herdsmen roaming around in the bushes.
They know that dairy and beef are more profitably produced these days through rearing cattle in enclosed farms.

Fulani herdsmen and the Islamic insurgents are fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, the same laws embraced by the political and religious leaders in the 12 Sharia states of northern Nigeria.

That's why it's imperative that the rangers should be sourced from local indigene of the area they will be serving, they know their locality and terrain better than anyone else and they are equally known by the community they serve and secure, just pray that local politicians don't weaponize them against their opponents

It is a proactive way to fight terrorist, bandits and armed herdsmen. USA also has a form of forest rangers... politics aside the idea is good. I ed the establishment of Amotekun... this initiative just gives them better weapons, communication devices and the ease of liaising with federal security agencies. The idea is good, Nigeria has too many insecurity issues to leave things to chances.

The problem is this,it will be politicized.
That's when you will see the governor will have a certain slots, deputy governor, local government chairmen, traditional rulers, senators and other politicians will have their own slots.
Whatever little positions remaining will be shared to those who don't have connection.

That's how it is everywhere, people use connection everywhere on earth

They've told you that it will be supervised by the Office of Fulani Forgivers. They will politicize everything. Abuja will still dictate.

Whenever Tinubu does something good and commendable, I applaud him. To be honest, I really applaud this initiative, it's a good step in the right direction.

We Igbos do not hate Bola Tinubu, we only want the best for Nigeria. We want Tinubu to lead Nigeria with honesty, sincerity of purpose and with zero corruption, nepotism and tribalism. If Tinubu does the right thing and makes Nigeria work, honestly I will become his first fan and praisesinger but don't expect me and other Igbos who cherish competence and merit to be praising Tinubu when he is failing just to make Yorubas happy, it doesn't work that way.

Well done Tinubu, please don't let this initiative be an audio one like some things you have embarked on in the past. Make it work, also hasten on the State Police, stop dragging your leg because of your selfish political interest undecided
pls mention things Tinubu has done wrong within his 2 years in power

Let every state defend their forest no transfer of non indigenes to other states.

I don't think so. Forests have become the abode of terrorists, bandits IPOB/ESN, kidnappers and where they keep thousands of their victims. Recruiting forests guards and arming them this time around is not for illegal tree fellers but for criminals using forests as hideout

Establish state and let's have a unit call Forest guard there

A state like oyo can recruit more than 50k state police personnel that will be posted to each LG

Frsc, efcc, nscdc, etc

Everyone knows the over centralisation of agency has eroded the agency of ability and efficiency
