Daniel Bwala, presidential spokesperson, has said that Nigerians claiming President Bola Tinubu has no tangible achievements since assuming office are “either blind, deaf and dumb".

Mr Bwala, in an interview with TVC on Monday night, said the Tinubu-led government has increased Nigeria’s foreign reserves despite paying off a huge debt inherited from his predecessor.

“Those who say there are no achievements, it is either they are blind, deaf or dumb, but I’ll help them today,” said Mr Bwala when asked to respond to criticisms that Mr Tinubu has no achievement since he assumed office about two years ago.

He added, “Look at our foreign reserve. You can see how we are having increase. We are increasing the foreign reserve, while we are paying the debt on our neck.”

Mr Bwala argued that another achievement of Mr Tinubu’s government is the increased monthly allocation to states, adding that 27 states were bankrupt and could not pay salaries before Mr Tinubu assumed office.

“When the president took oath of office, 27 states of the federation were reported to have gone bankrupt, meaning they could not pay salaries. They virtually could not do anything at all. Today, there is no state that is bankrupt or incapable of paying salaries,” Mr Bwala said.

“Rather, state governors have gone beyond that to deliver on good governance and projects.” He added, “Few days ago, we were in Katsina, the governor reaffirmed this same view thay before now governors didn’t have enough to pay salaries.

Even in PDP states, Enugu and even Abia, they acknowledged that the policies of the president have increased their allocations so that they can now deliver on good governance to their people. Fundamentally, that is achievement number one.”

The presidential spokesperson also cited the student loan policy as another achievement of the Tinubu-led government, saying,

“Look at the NELFUND, now the son of indigent, who has dreams, can now have access to funds to fund their education.” Mr Bwala said,

“These are few of many achievements of Mr President, when they blow the whistle and say let’s go to campaign, we will bring them to the table. They are ascertainable, relatable and touchable.”

Bwala called them blind, deaf and dumb.

Natasha Akpoti called them gullible and hungry.

Prof. Soyinka called them nattering nitwits.

Kwankwaso called them Andrew liver salt.

Sam Omatseye called them Óbituary.

Chimaroke Nnamani called them Obidense.

Gov Soludo called them headless mob.

Femi Adesina called them wailers.

After God, na Tinubu 💪 God bless Nigeria

The poster below me, this was his comments about Obi in 2013... Today, he is an Obidient grin

owobokiri:
He used to ask; "are we the cause or are we cursed? Obi is now the curse. . This clowns 8 years in office have brought nothing inventive or spectacular to that state. In fact his last minute contract awards and construction works over the last few months might be more effective than whatever he did in the past 7 years. It makes you wonder what he has been doing with the states resources these past years. From day 1, he was banking with Fidelity bank! How can a state chief executive channel the state funds to his bank with a straight face and still rant endlessly about fighting corruption? Is there no clash of interest there? How can a man be so totally selfish in the way he runs a state? Now he is going to put his "nwa boy" there ala Obasanjo and Andy Ubah. This wont happen in Imo state. All the former governors of Imo tried stuff like this and were all forced to eat the humble pie. Anambra people should make his last days in office very painful.

E don reach to dey insult Nigerians right left and center for calling out an oppresively corrupt but comatose presidency? You mismanage our lives so waywardly and then get all rilled up because the people called you out? We can't criticize the supposed presidency of the country anymore without having to deal with all sorts of uncouth outbursts from these retinue of compromised characters hired by Tilimgbu?

This Lagos agbadorian bunch of inebriated APCs-ineffective buffoons at Aso Rock are starting to see themselves as lions and leopards that must be feared by the people, when in actual fact they are nothing but stray cats. Disoriented ones at that. You were not "elected" to trade insults with the people, you are there to listen to them and to solve problems, you dolts..

Let's use these metrics.
1. What is the poverty rate right now in the country. Has it increased or reduced? Increased.
2. Which country does the world bank say has the greatest number of hungry and malnourished children in the world right now? Nigeria.
3. What country in the world has the greatest number of out of school children? Nigeria.
4. What country is on track to have the worst outcomes in maternal healthcare for the 5th year running? Nigeria.
5. Has unemployment increased since this istration came in? Yes.
6. Have thousands of businesses shut down due to the hostile business climate in the country? Yes.

Nigeria is currently rated as the worst nation on earth for a child to be born. We perform worse than Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan and even Haiti. There's no sugar coating any of this. APC is a party of failures. The current corpse at the head of the party is just there because he wants to rule and not because he or anyone around him has ideas on how to improve the fortunes of Nigerians.

Ali Ndume was right when he described you as a "Maga Dog."

A person who parades loyalty to power for survival, flips ideology without shame, barks loudest when defending the very people oppressing the masses, and displays exaggerated outrage when their handlers are attacked.

:
• Bwala was a staunch APC er under Buhari.
• He switched sides to Atiku’s PDP not out of conviction but convenience — after smelling a dead-end in Tinubu’s camp.
• Today, Bwala spends more energy defending Tinubu’s government than speaking truth to power — despite pretending to be in the opposition.

A maga dog in politics is someone who wags their tail for the ruling elite, sells propaganda to poor masses, and attacks truth-tellers with fake patriotism.

Bwala fits this mold perfectly:
• Always on TV barking against critics of government policy.
• Gaslighting Nigerians about Tinubu’s disastrous economic policies.
• Downplaying the suffering of ordinary citizens.
• Defending corrupt politicians while attacking men like ndume for speaking truth.

Calling Bwala a maga dog is therefore accurate political branding — he is loyal not to Nigeria but to whoever is feeding him politically.

You're right if not by now Nigerians would have occupied the government houses demanding for President's head, governors and senators respectively or Nigerians would have stone them all.
