Ezmans:SA is also one of the most unequal countries in the world where stupendous wealth sits side by side with excruciating poverty. I our visit to Cape Town and some colleagues decided to take the train to Pretoria. When they came back one of them was saying they ed areas that resemble Ajegunle, if not worse. I was in Durban on another trip and from the 8th floor of an office complex I could see what looked like a shanty settlement in the middle of the city surrounded by beautiful skyscrapers. Despite the contradictions and inequality, though, SA is the most industrialised country on the continent and the whites invested heavily in infrastructure during the apartheid era. Hopefully, black South Africans would be better enlightened and shorn xenophobic tendencies. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

RandDigital:Stop using Nigerias forum to chase clouth of division and discord among her people. You should rather give this info to SA people in your local forum. I know what your intentions are Anytime you visit nairaland. Not all the people can be supid all the time. Do well and inform your country people about your info. Millions in soweto and across SA doesnt know something like this bmw building exist in their country. 1 Like |

nihinlade: You seriously don't understand Nigeria. Our leadership is a cancer. They are there only for themselves, family, and friends. They are very happy that we have crude oil and they can always steal from there. When it comes to creating enabling environment for FDI or local businesses, there don't care. But if it's about rigging election or fighting because anything happens to crude oil, they'll show up. They don't care about security in the country. They don't care about electricity. They don't care about good roads. They don't care about stabilizing the naira. And the international community knows all of things that we face. So, tell me how they'll come to invest here? So, they spend all their money fueling generators? Struggling with insecurity and exchange issues? You know something? They'll never solve the insecurity challenges because they are the ones fueling it. Certainly, Nigeria is not ready for development. 2 Likes |
