Senator Ireti Kingibe has charged Nigerian youths to stop complaining and take active steps in reclaiming their country from politicians who have not done enough in turning around the situation of the country, News360 Nigeria reports.

The lawmaker specifically mentioned political figures like Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, as examples of those whose political dominance needs to be challenged.

Speaking boldly, Kingibe said, “Nigerian youths do nothing but complain.”

“It’s time they rise, confront politicians like Wike, and take back their country”, she said.

“We need to have constructive interactions, all I hear is crumbling, insults online, thats not helpful”, she further stated

Madam, detail exactly how you have improved the lot of your constituency? I suggest you show real interest in the Nigeria youth by first moving a motion to reduce by 50% your salary and allowances in the Senate which are currently crippling Nigeria more than Wike. The first place Youth need to protest is at the Senate and the House of Assembly. You criminals are too expensive for Nigeria to maintain.
