Yes it is just a question, but one coming from a place of gender bias in this 21st century should not be tolerated. I have a colleage in my office who did the same thing just last year. There is a lady working in one of the companies who has rose to the rank of intermediate manager and one day i was in the company parking lots discusing with one of my colleagues and this lady came to drive her car off, she greeted me and we talked then she proceeded to drive off, and someone said ha her car is beautiful and this colleagued opened his dirty mouth to say. "Na man buy am for her". The way I turned and attacked him ehnn.. I said young man are you okay. Are you aware this lady has been in this company for years and are you aware she is up to the position of a manger, he said he know, then I said what then do you think she will be using her money for are you okay, as a matter of fact she might have more money than you who has a higher position than her, because she was not married and have no kids to train. My conclusion is most Nigerian men feel threatened when the meet a lady who is doing well alone without a man. that is what i am trying to correct, it is damn wrong. This guy would not have asked this question if she were a man.
