Let's tell ourselves the truth, we have been having a cosmetic economy before Tinubu, though I still don't completely agree with some of his policies and the inhumane posture of his istration but what we have now is the true reflection of how bad our economy was/is, the true value of our naira is what we have now and for a country like ours that depends 90 percent on importation except you want to be mischievous you'd agree with me that commodity prices will skyrocket as local currency loose value. What we should focus on his how to turn things around in the shortest possible time which I've not really seen any clear plan this government has to do so.
Go and check trade balance since 1999 till date... Then come and re read what you wrote

Nigerians would hear something and won't even research it

Funny Nigerians. Ordinary fishes that are across the rivers, we are still importing embalmed fish and turkey.

Be preparing to buy 1 fish for N10k until we receive the missing senses

I wasn't expecting you to be crying profusely
Why should I cry when you and your likes are the ones tinibu is shaming grin grin grin

If Obi is the the one performing poorly like tinibu the shame and name calling would've been on our heads.

That God for everything.

What are you saying?
Nigeria is a country that was built on importation even your government abandoned, all the refineries and went on importation of fuel and other things when they can open factories for production and by so doing create a lot of jobs.
And this is Obi's dream but eyeneck and judiciary stopped that dream from happening because of billions of bribery.

It does not matter whether u depend on importation or not.
kuwait is an import dependent nation yet it holds the strongest currency on earth. Switzerland the same and many other nations, same with Benin Republic, Ivory Coast too.

But why is Nigeria different, the answer is,whatever u produce in Nigeria must always be higher than the imported ones while the import ones would be better in quality than the locally produced ones.

Another is cost of production and bad govt policies. How can local rice be more expensive than the imported ones?

You have a valid point there.

Bro you are still defending grin
What are you defending here

Una no dey hear word

Do you know what stability of aspects of the economy can provide a country. We were only asking for the minimum which was stability. Now our naira is so useless Cefa is now more valuable.
Insecurity that can spiral into anarchy or full blown civil war is now used as business venture by our leaders including democratic, traditional etcetera in this country.

Before 2015 or even 2023 things were moving, flowing, there was balance in the economy.

Ordinary folks were transacting online without any qualms.

Immediately they took over 2015, everything started collapsing. Check the curve of your country's GDP presently it is tending downwards

I’ll suggest that those who have enough land should just use portions of the land build small mini lake. And park diff species of fish put if they can… Make them leave them there n feed them with whatever they can.. after 9 months them go see something

I got to learn that a vast majority of Nigerians are incredibly foolish and irredeemable! If Tinubu wins the next election, this will be a child's play. Nobody can give what they don't have.

It should be #800 according to how much is being earned now. So why is it #2000.
Because I know you are referring to the new minimum wage

I think Peter Obi might be a soothsayer on Nigerian affairs. Everything happening today is exactly as he predicted it in 2022

Is he better? How was his state when he was a governor?. That's how you lots thought Buhari was better than Jonathan because he wasn't given a chance at that time only for it to be worse when he came to power.

Growing up, as kids, we called this fish "dog fish", ofcourse we knew no better as that was what was bought in cartons and stored to augment the food fed to the plenty dogs we had. To day as agalagba, we know it as titus once for the managing but today for the rich.
Op are you sure it is 4k? As at 5 mins ago it is N6,500 per kilo.
