Ontop no light shey they don't have generator . We that stay days without light. Years back I serve in a local govt in edo , they don't even have electricity . No wires on their poles . For the one year I served there , I stayed in total darkness

Sometimes humans need a reason to appreciate their comfortable lives. I bet the country never knew what power outages felt like before this event. There will always be off-grid locations which exist without electricity. Why those are a thing, I will never know.

It's happening everyday here since you were born but yhe difference is we no longer see it as emergency but normal si we no longer panic. How many blackout and national grio collapse have we witnessed in the past one year? How many hours of light do the average Nigerian have per day?
