Pamela is a single mother who still believes in love.
Chuks wants love too — but the moment he finds out she has a child, everything changes.
He says marriage is a big deal and he’s not sure any Igbo family will accept a single mum.
Pamela fires back: at least she was honest, many women would have hidden it.
Is it true that in Igbo tradition, a single mother cannot easily marry?
Is anything really wrong with marrying a single mum who wants love just like everyone else?
If you were in Chuks’ shoes, what would you do?
And if you were Pamela, would you even explain yourself?
Can you marry a single mum?
Or is love supposed to be enough, no matter the past?

How should one answer this?

Let me use this analogy. There are two cars. One brand new. The other used. Both go for the same price.

Assuming the buyer is not mentally unbalanced and insane, which should he go for?

There is nothing wrong marrying a single mom. The main issue is if her ex husband or baby daddy is still in the picture? Okarfor's law is very powerful.
Except she's a widow, then it's ok.

Marrying a single mother is like telling a rich lady to marry a broke man who isn't sure of getting his finances in 3 decades to come.

Beauty and manner are two different things

Marrying a single mom whose ex husband is still alive is like taking loan from the shrine, the interest and duration are always very high and difficult to navigate.

Avoid marrying single women whose ex husband is still alive.

The man, like most Nigerians, was obviously making that up instead of honestly declaring that he was not interested in marrying a single mother. undecided

The used one is not even fairly used. It's used to the extent that it has leaking and smoking engine, hanging gear box, expired tokunbo tires etc. 😀😀😀
