TimeManager: True, you are right.👍 With what the former CBN - Emiefiele did: - that NTrillions of Money 🤑 Unable in Ways and Means s, - the NBillions of 🔱 Borrowers Farmers Money gone to Non- Farmer, especially the Politicians, - that he Emiefiele had Audacity to Carry Ballot Box as Presidential Candidate-is smacked of GREED, Wickedness and Corruption -has been enlogated in Our Highest Office of Financial Institutions - like CBN and it could Only be revived by Discipline, Very Smart Move and makes Nigerians to face hash reality, -especially the revival of FOREX Money, - the Repairs of Refineries, - the Opening of Dangote Refinery is also a booster. • On the Issues of Food , -I 've Suggested that Tinubu's Govt - should allowed for a Massive Importations - for the Next 2- yrs,- to force down the Prices Of Foodstuffs everywhere. •Secondly - Allow More Nigerians to Borrow Money from the Banks- on Short - Basis- for at least 2-5 years Moratorium - at a Very Low Interest Rates - of 2- 5% per annum- and by so doing , •Businesses will Pick up everywhere. But Some of us are not Politicians - that Can Deceived the Public,so they don't think is important to hacken to our advice! 2 Likes |

Putindbutt: You are the one who has refused to reason like a sane human should. The purchasing power of the governors has significantly reduced and I will prove it to you. Between 2014 to 2017, it cost N11.5b to do the 43km Obajana road. That is about N267m per kilometre. In 2024, it cost N757b to do a 489km obajana-benin road. That is about N1.5b per Km. Again, in 2014, Kogi State averaged N2.2b in monthly allocation. Today, it averages N6b. What does it all mean? In 2014, a state like Kogi would use about 6 months allocation to construct a 43km road. Today, it would need about over 10 months allocation to do that same 43km road... So, states are getting more money but with less value. I know you do not have the intellectual capability to process what I have analysed, but take it to your superiors in the propaganda game to explain to you. |

Meanwhile Manufacturers Association of Nigeria are shouting over the number of businesses that have shutdown operations and or struggling to sell their products due to weak demand for their products. The CBN has done a wonderful job. It's not easy to keep the rate of inflation at the rate that it is when the following happened at the same time: 1. Removal of petroleum subsidy. 2. Removal of fx subsidy. 3. Low crude oil price. 4. Backlog of unpaid fx obligations. 5. Very low external reserves which limits the ability to defend the naira. 5. Insecurity disrupting local food production. 6. External influences caused by COVID, Russia/Ukrainian war. 7. The present Trump tariff war. All these factors fuel inflation but the CBN has managed to keep it at moderate level. One thing that I hate about all Nigerian opposition is that they condemn everything that any regime is doing whether good or bad. |
