It pains my heart dearly to see how badly things have gone because of politics. When I come to nairaland or visit twitter, I feel sad how things have turned out.

To start with, I am a Yoruba man who voted for Tinubu. I mean, I suffered on this very day to vote for him. There was no money, there was no transportation. I worked many kilometers to my polling unit and back home.

At that time, I genuinely believed he was the best candidate. Leadership, political will - if there was anyone to make tough decisions, I was sure he would make the call, etc. This had nothing to do with tribe.

Till date, that decision is the worst I have made in my life. I have not regretted anything more. First, the level of tribalism is over the roof. The country is burning and what the youth discuss is irrelevant tribal conquest that does not better anyone's life.

Recently, all you see is vehement argument about whether Rema is Igbo, Oshimen is Yoruba. Don't we have thinking youths anymore? Have you all lost it?

We are in a crisis situation in this country. I earn a lot for feed comfortably and also feed others but I'm not satisfied. With my salary, I could be building a house project almost to completion at this time. Sachet water is #50. Are you not disgusted? Malt is #700, the money that does important stuff in the past is now what we use to eat a single meal today. How have our youth sank?

I blame this mainly on the Yoruba youth. Since Tinubu won, it seems they lost their senses. They don't seem to be interested in the merit of the matter. Some of them are cursing and fighting us online for daring to ask questions. Some of these so called youth did not even vote.

How can you ask us not to speak when fuel is x5, rice is x6, drink is x4? What are you genuinely gaining from the government as a young man who cherishes his future? We know about the paid actors queuing on fp of every topic to defend the government. What about the ones not paid?

Have we lost it as a tribe? Are we willing to sacrifice our own future to please political dynasties? We need to start thinking more and stop fooling.

Go and hustle smartly. Stop blaming FG for all the life's woes or when did you add FG as your next of kin

I am yet to see that country you will go to that the citizens won't have one or issue with the government, all they do is hoping for the best while improving those they have been voting Into power

No food for lazy ass men

Stop fooling around. The government of your country can make or mar you with decision making. If that's not the case, there will be no need for a government.

Btw, have you been paid this month?

Your comments itself is a pure joke. That because you are a Yoruba, that you voted for this government shouldn't stop you to be productive in life.

It go better, it go better, na line I have been hearing in Nigeria before being born self.

How are others be able to get through whichever government that you can't?

See, this gibberish you wrote here will only make sense if your people are not hypocritical! Infact, the biggest sets hypocrites in Nigeria are your people, the reason people don’t take them serious and can’t amount to anything in this country. Achebe tried using this format, he failed. Zik use it and he failed woefully ! The moment anybody start claiming Yoruba on the internet, he has already exposed his IPOBs coward nature !

It's too early. Don't start your weekend with this radarada talk

It's okay to lash out in frustration but why must you blame the Yoruba ethnic group for your woes?

You see, have you ever seen me complaining about hardship? No it's because we face our hustle squarely as government no dey put food on masses table.

Don't make wailing a generational thing in Nigeria. Go and do something meaningful with your time and life snd stop blaming the government

Great question. The reason is because some Yoruba youth have sank deeply, taking it upon themselves to shut all voices of reasoning. They have now become defenders of a government that hurts them. That there is my concern.

Bro, all those people who have been coming online to be blaming government for all the life's woes, abeg where are there parents?

They have shifted almost all the blame on FG while ignoring the irresponsibility of their parents

Where will your crumbs come from if you wail? You are paid to do a job and that's what you will do.

Firstly, Nairlanders are dumb and will put emotions first before commenting, so don't blame your tribe. Politics made 70% of them bitter even other tribe.

All you have to do is be yourself and don't allow politics to shape your mind or be in control of you.

Haven't you observed that 98% of comments on FP are always filled with hate, even directed to a particular tribe because of politics?

The painful part is that educated illiterates are the ones doing that. It pains so much.

Just be yourself and do good.

Again it's only if you're a beneficiary of a corrupt system that you regurgitate this nonsense from the playbook in your WhatsApp group.

Even Elon Musk as rich as he is and connected to Trump's government made push back on Trump's tariff policies when it began to affect him. And there is a peasant as you with absolutely nothing to show for it, masquerading as someone who's hustling, ing policies that affect millions of poor Nigerian and pretending you're immune to it.

Shame on you.

We have told you people to stop this yeye insinuation.

I have no single connection with any political party, politicians or their associates. That I made some comments that sometimes tally with the reality don't mean I am an insider in the government.

I have never received a penny from any politicians before not to talk of the government.

I am just a normal Nigerians like others.

So shun that nonsense talk of getting paid by anyone. Did you get paid for ing your favourite European clubs?

The Nigeria government didn't create an enabling environment for the citizens to hustle ;no good motorable roads,no electricity,no clean drinking water,no security,no jobs as foreign investors are scared to come.

Can you hustle under these harsh conditions, unless you are a street urchin or a political tout.

Op, sorry about how you feel.

You are not alone.

To drink fanta and eat egg roll now cost you about 1k. Mind you, this is not even proper food.

If I can afford it, what about the teeming masses out there.

I have a mini Mart by the side, it availed me the opportunity to witness first hand what people are going through on a daily basis.

A pot of soup that hitherto cost 10k to make with full option just two years ago, now requires 25k to cook.

I have kids.

Two years ago, breakfast for each didn't cost more than 600 naira for a wholesome meal, today you need 1200 for same.

And one jobless mofo up there that keeps telling people to go and hustle each time they complain, but he doesn't know that the naira has become very valueless that it's like toilet paper (used), and those already hustling hard to get it together are frustrated at the value of naira.

This is how you know he's a jobless mofo without responsibilities!

This dude even argued that eggs was for the rich!

He probably lives in a room self somewhere in mushin and thinks he's doing well.

40yrs old man o!

Mind you, the reforms that landed citizens into this never-seen-before hardship are not bad reforms.

The problem was in their implementation!
