I agree but what I am trying to say is that even though you don't react physically, it does not mean your body is not reacting internally. Most people who act out or cry when they are hurt tend to return to baseline much faster than those who are less responsive. In other words, the former heals faster.

So you may be calm, or appear to be so, but your brain, heart, vessels, skin and other organs disagree. Unless you practice yoga or have some superior relaxation techniques that I am not privy to, chances are that you will end up the way your body feels. Silently traumatized.
