Band A for Aso Rock. That The President, who is in charge of the Presidency can't call his Minister of Power to stop the fraud called Electricity Banditry with all the power he has is unbelievable. The same man that can declare a state of emergency in Rivers but won't do the same for power. I think you can see where the interest lies. 3 Likes |

mrvitalis:And you belive that Aso Rock consumes 47bn yearly on electricity? That quotation has been terribly inflated. This is Nigeria. How many rooms are in Aso Rock that makes them consume such amount of money on electricity? Even 5 star hotels that run NEPA and Gen 24/7 don't even spend up 100m on electricity annually and you expect us to believe that Aso rock is spending 47bn. Do you know what 47bn is? Is not as if Tinubu is always in the country sef. The baba has spent 82 days and counting outside the shores of this country so who's using the electricity? Abeg they should tell us another lie. 6 Likes |

Maxymilliano: They promised to be steady electricity when they come in, why not use the #10bn to make the light Stable as promised? Or na another agenda for campaign in 2027? They will still promise steady electricity in 2027.... 2 Likes |

Celestialsword: Use your Google well... U go say no... Na porn u wan dey watch... The first screen shot shows you that solar s are made in nigeria... The second one shows you that there is a toothpick factory in nigeria..as a matter of fact... 2 of them... One in edo and the other in delta.... . The 3rd one shows you that even the UK imports toothpicks... The reason for import can vary from country to country... In the case of Nigeria, the 2 factories producing toothpicks cannot independently take care of the needs of almost 300m Nigerians hence the need to import at times.... I know say you go still argue but u will be alright

Some of you are funny an average 4 bedroom duplex if they want to use all appliances would spend over 2 million on light bill ( talking from personal experience) ... Maxymilliano: #47 bn million is unsustainable for energy needs of Aso Villa; Yes, we all agree. We do know that the power companies whoever they are take care of failed power equipments distributing energy to the Villa. But what we don't know is aside the #10 bn for this solar power system for Aso Villa, how much is estimated for it's maintenance yearly as the case maybe? This is the most important question to ask and what's the duration estimated to change the solar s and batteries? |

Such a heartless and wickedly evil government. You are running for expensive bill but you want the local govt primary school teacher with salary of 25,000 per month to pay for bandA?? Mhen, 2 Likes |

mrvitalis:What you should understand is that the tarrif inflation we're currently experiencing in Nigeria today is nothing but corruption. Cos the same infrastructure the NERC had when you could get 200 units for 1k is the same electrical infrastructure they're still managing and 1k is 4 units. Nothing was added, no new power stations were built, the National grid is still collapsing every now and then, we're still generating 5k MW it hasn't even reached 7-8k. Many companies are shutting down because the government is extorting them through electricity bills. Today a 2 bedroom flat spends over 500k annually on electricity and you think we should pay more? They foced people into Band A without any infrastructure to guarantee that they'll have stable light. Today you'd hardly notice the difference between band A and band B cos they all experience long hours of darkness. What's going on in the power sector is nothing but corruption, greed and wickedness. It's not something you should applaud. If they want us to pay more for electricity, they should increase power generation and build more power stations. Then we'll understand why we need to pay more. You can't be using the infrastructure that was built in the 80s and 90s to generate and transmit electricity and keep increasing tarrif. On what grounds? How can you justify that? Why should electricity be expensive for the common man to afford? 4 Likes |

mariovito: How does it being locally made help the country when you can buy it much cheaper in China? Countries don't become rich simply by producing things they used to import. Countries do best when resources are focused on where they have a competitive or comparative advantage in. If you simply engage in import substitution policies, it would mean Nigerians pay a when it is made here. 1 Like |
