The woman had been picked from Murtala Mohammed International Airport to the hotel by the taxi driver. Perhaps seeing that she is in deep trouble, the lady sent a SOS message to the taxi driver who promptly involved the Police.

The two suspects, realizing that the only way they could be left off the hook, decided to bribe CSP Ayo Elijah with the huge sum indicating that they would make the transfer immediately if he played ball with them.

Not denying the ethics of his profession, CSP Ayo Elijah who won the prestigious Trek Africa Best DPO of the Year 2024 award last December and recently The Pride Newspaper Most Outstanding DPO of the Year stood his ground against the huge tempting cash reward. No individual is allowed to transfer such amount. It will trigger the bank mechanism and the will become suspicious

This makes me wonder the number of police officers that have been successfully bribed to cover the devilish atrocities
