The Only Reason Jesus Would've Chosen A David Ibiyeomie To Be His Disciple

It's to betray Him as Judas because of money, because David Ibiyeomie has proven himself to be another Judas in the respect of his love for money, that will make him to go to the extent of falsely accuse Jesus of hating the poor and not visiting them.

The only reason Jesus chose Judas who He called a "devil", was to fulfill the prophecy of having a traitor among those of His fold, otherwise Jesus would never have chosen a devil who loves money more than everything else (including God) to be His disciple. John 6:70-71; 13:18.

Therefore the same applies to David Ibiyeomie whose god has been clearly shown to be mammon, so would do or say anything because of money even though it's to betray Jesus as Judas did.

That's how he betrayed the trust of his pastor friend and fellow WOFBI graduate who started his church (Salvation Ministries) with him because of money.

After initially coming into an agreement with the man of how they were going to split the proceeds of the church at a due time, so his friend pastor could use his own share to start his own church, he reneged on the agreement when the time had come to pay him his own share, to the utter shock and disappointment of his co-pastor and friend that the poor man lamented that "if there was anything pastors have not overcome it's the love of money" because of what David Ibiyeomie did to him.

This is the same David Ibiyeomie is everywhere, including on national TV spilling all sorts of heresies and antichrist ideas in the name of money, including his most recent and arguably most scandalous gaffe that "Jesus hated the poor and never visited them".

Yet many blind Christians are still trying to defend the bonafide crook thinking he's true a man of God regardless of what he says or does.

If Jesus (who sees the heart of men hence cannot be deceived as men) were here, He would call David Ibiyeomie "a devil" just as He did Judas..

God bless.

Dear Sadducee, those who malign this man don't end well. A word is enough for the wise.

My own Jesus hates poverty, deal with it.

Modern-day pharisee, your own "Jesus" is obviously mammon.

A man cannot serve my own Jesus and mammon. Matthew 6:24.

Are you meant to follow Nigerian pastors or Christ? Your question and mindset is already flawed if you claim to be a Christian.

Good thing you don't even believe all are serving mammon, so you have already answered your question yourself that not all love money even though they be few, which also tallies with what Jesus said about many being called but few are chosen and only few will be able to enter into that gate. Matthew 7:14 22:14.

You actually have no point because that shouldn't be an excuse even if he is, because that's not what he ought to be if we followed the teachings and example of Christ which the apostles and early church followed.

You should be concerned though except you're not a Christian but just leveraging on this anomaly because it suits your agenda.

So why are you bringing such issues or message or corrections to a forum owned and filled with unbelievers and uncercumcirsed Philistines

Why don't you take this message to Christian pages on Facebook to post so it can be in house correction? Yours is greater sin

There's a difference between poverty and poor.

Poverty is a state. The poor are the people affected by poverty. Meanwhile, poverty is not only related to money, it can be applied to other facets of life.
Jesus hate poverty but loves the poor that's why he came to deliver the poor from their poverty and enrich them with abundant grace.

I rest it here.

The use of religious titles in the world is to hinder observers from questioning the actions of such title bearers that's why Jesus COMMANDED his own disciples:

But you, do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers. Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One. Neither be called leaders, for your Leader is one, the Christ. β€―But the greatest one among you must be your minister. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:8-12

Whoever adds titles to his or her name to be duly recognized by the general public is not a Christian! smiley

Jesus said people of these generation have eyes but they can't see ears they are deaf.

What Ibiyeomie is saying indirectly is that whoever isn't rich should leave his church he doesn't want poor who can't take good care of him! smiley

Oh, they can see alright. They can see money and they like what they see grin

Everything else is a means to an end, no matter the camouflage. And the end is MONEY, both here and also hereafter if possible. If not possible, then HERE.

You're not getting it those titles bearers aren't believers but atheists seeking riches, it's their followers that are blind in seeing the truth!

But the original saying is instead that it is not possible to serve God AND Mammon. (This means one who is qualified can worship either God OR Mammon, but definitely not both.) So, how come you now claim instead that they can openly serve this God AND this Mammon simultaneously? Was the original statement in error? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

What do you think all the seed sowing is about?
The Bible preaches the virtues of EARTHLY poverty. Example, the only reason Lazarus made heaven was because he was poor on earth (no where does the Bible say he was a particularly good man).
Yet start a church that guarantees people the virtue of earthly poverty and see how many you'll have grin

There was no poor Lazarus it was just an illustration and as for church Jesus has restructured his church today but it's a pity most people hated his church just as they hated him back then! Matthew 10:24-25

What was it illustrating? What did Father Abraham say to the rich man? (And BTW no where did it say he was a particularly bad man - just rich)

Rich man means Pharisees who knew the scriptures from Genesis to Malachi poor Lazarus means common Jews who always run to Pharisees to ask for what God says in the scriptures.

You can start from verse 10 of Luke 16 to know those whom Jesus had in mind regarding that illustration! smiley

You said there was no Lazarus so why are you still referencing him?

He's just a character in Jesus parable not a real person who ever lived!

Note that Jesus mentioned both men and nothing good or bad was said about them other than one rich and the other poor.
Jesus also said Moses and the prophets are around when Moses never lived with the Israelites in any settlement with gates yet according to the story the rich man had gates to his house.

Lots of points to prove that both men are not real people but characters in the illustration (parable)

The story of Lazarus and the rich man is an allegory used by Jesus Christ of Israel to make clear the message that no man would be sent back from the dead to warn the living. The mention of Abraham and all the other details were merely to help drive home the main message which is found at the end of the story. That is simply what that tale is about. undecided
