1,500 per meal times 3 = 4,500 per day

That's 135,000 naira per month. But minimum wage is 70,000 naira

And this dude claims to have PhD. Obviously a case study of 'educated ignoramus', of which is a prerequisite to defend Tinubu. Just like the other dude that said that capital punishment is not death penalty.

I guess you don't get what the guy is telling Nigerians.

Subject yourselves to one meal of #1500 a day. If you want to divide that #1500 meal into 3 square meals, that's your choice. Just eat a meal of #1500 and you're good. At the end of the month, you've only spent #45,000. You have #25,000 left to take care of rent, transportation, and other basic needs.

If you have a family, make it #2500 meal a day. Cut meat into tiny pieces and let the children take according to their age. That will be the only protein for the day.

What a country.

2500 ke? I bought just one portion of rice and chicken last week on the island for 6,300.
Was it at Blackwell?

"island" Ikoyi, VI or Lekki?

Not defending him or being cynical, but Mr Tope was specific.

Why exactly are people cursing this man? Why don't you refute his statements? I pay more than N600k every month in utilities abroad per month, N3.2M in mortgage for one house alone per month, I will never pay 20% of that in Nigeria. You people never see anything good in your country. Between August last year and February this year, I was paying about N6m per month in mortgages which included an empty house under renovation. You want me to tell you how much I pay in taxes per month?

Abroad go bill you like crazy, Imagine your own house in Naija with no mortgage and a 24hour solar light? O boy, Naija na paradise on earth I swear.

Mr Richman what are you still doing there? If you know that Nigeria is paradise, why then did you choose hellfire? Everybody want to go to heaven, but no one wants to die. Your president said he is building a Nigeria for the unborn generation, so, the present generation would be starved to death for the unborn generations, who will born the unborn generations? Buhari said that Nigerians will miss him, that is what is happening now, because he knew who was coming after him, keep on ing evil from diaspora,if really you're there, after all i can comment what you posted here too, let's hear something please

Minimum wage in Nigeria @ N70,000 a month
$10 dollar is average per hour wage in the US which is N15,000 Nigeria currency

Per day wage in Nigeria is N70,000÷30days=N2,333
Per hour wage in Nigeria is N2,333÷9 hours working time a day N259.

Per hour wage in Nigeria is N259
Per hour wage in the US IS N15,000

So comparing N1500 meal which is 5.7 hours work in Nigeria to $10 (N15,000) 1 hour work in the US

What can buy and eat with N259 compared to N15,000 ? Both per hour wage
So is this man making any sense at all here?
Only in Nigeria you move ìn reverse instead of moving forward
Useless people parading PHD certificate up and down

It is easier to make 5k USD (7 million+) in the US than to make 400k in Nigeria. So all these things you are mentioning do not hold water.
You can also install solar s and make money selling to the grid in the US or Canada, but you can't in Nigeria. If it is that bad, come back home.

I worked for my money and got zero from the government. There are little of homeless poor white folks here who like ro complain and blame the government for everything. It is a matter of having the right perspective in live. I grew up dirty poor and vowed to overcome poverty without complaining.

So the tax you are paying, you didn't get anything good in return? Here we pay tax but what we get is dirty environment, bumpy roads, untarred and water logged streets, harassing policemen, etc. Kidnappers everywhere.

Lies. Millions of people have never seen $5k in the US.lLots of people are making in millions in Nigeria monthly. Reason I am coming back is because it is way easier for me to make millions in Nigeria than overseas. I also want to club and party like crazy. I miss Lagos so bad.

Sure you are not in Ghana 😏? Average salary in US is more than 5k and you don't even need a white collar job to earn 5k in us. But the average salary in 9ja is about 100k. Most people don't earn up 100k if we are being honest.

To only 1% of the populace is the university cheap. How many Nigerians can afford it? And what do the so-called cheap universities have to offer in of practicals? Next to nothing. Social life is subjective. Somebody like me like this, an introvert. grin For extroverts, who is stopping them from going to clubs, pools, beach and socializing? Did the government from that side say they can't do social life? I don't get it. Cheap health care, still to like 1% of the populace. Majority can't afford the Healthcare here. Take for example, someone needs to do surgery of 600k. Majority of people here are earning less than 100k. It means this person will have to look for 6 x his or her salary to do it. I the man who lost his wife recently for not having money to deposit in the hospital to commence the treatment of his wife who was in labor.
There is no one that doesn't pay tax here. Even those not earning salaries are paying taxes through what they buy. For example, biscuit that was to be sold for 10# now goes for #100 because the government have over taxed the manufacturers. Bus that you should board for 200 naira is now like 600 naira to 1k because the agbero of the Federal Government have over taxed the bus drivers. Airtime of 500 naira can now only function as 100 naira in value because of the over taxation of the government. These are indirect taxes reflecting directly on the purchasing powers of the masses. Why do you think there is inflation?

He should multiply 2,500 ×3( three square meal) = 7,500
multiple (three square meal)=7,500× (1 month )= 30×7,500 = 225,000 just for feeding.
this calculation is just for one person, imagine a family man receiving minimum wage as salary. he can not even eat once in a day.

Average salary in 9ja is 70k oga. There are far more people earning less that 50k in Nigeria. Go to the north and other regions in Nigeria. You will chechonchin.
