I was at Gowon estate some years ago to check out a piece of item someone wanted to sell, when I got their I met his yoruba landlord who was busy telling me that the guy is my brother.
As it turns out, the guy is Edo.

I was driving from lagos to benin and decided to pik some engers along the road at ojota only for some touts to rush ny car and ask for. Inwt for picking engers going to benin and they were calling me omo nna as in I am igno.
Where as I am a true Edo man though born and grew up in lagos.

you’re right ss & se are actually igbos and are seen as such by all hausa and yorubas because I’ve lived there and know this. Even though some in the ss do not agree to this, maybe their father hid it from them and did not tell them. Though it’s the same way a kaduna man from adara tribe or kanuri, or jos man, etc will say they are not hausas, let peace reign. No need for the unity. Let the edo people do the needful.
