I recently received an inheritance and now have over ₦150-million just sitting here, doing nothing. I need solid advice on how best to invest this money. I’m looking for a moderate to high-yield investment that won’t be affected by the depreciation of the naira. Let’s be real ….. we’ve all seen how bad the naira has devalued over the years. The last thing I want is to put my money into something, only to wake up in a few years and realize its value has been slashed into half. You know what I mean. Even if the business is in naira, it has to be highly profitable so that currency depreciation won’t eat away it. I don’t want meaningless or negative suggestions…. only serious, well-thought-out opinions . I’m open to meeting up as well….. to discuss solid business ideas, and trust me, a handsome reward awaits whoever brings the best proposal. That said, let me be clear: I have the Commissioner of Police and EFCC on speed dial. If anyone thinks this is an opportunity for a scam, just know that any fraudulent attempt will be dealt with the full extent of the law. If you have a genuine, profitable, and well-researched idea, let’s talk. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Invest in treasury bills and money market. Annual interest is between 20-22 percent. While thinking of alternative ideals that are profitable, the money will yield good interest for you . You don't need to give anyone your money . Visit the investment arm of any bank and implement. Preservation of capital is key , low risk investment is important also. Take advantage of compound effect on investment. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

okenzo22: It’s a good idea, but in Nigeria, if a business isn’t pulling at least 40% profit annually , it’s not sustainable, especially with how fast the naira is losing value. Instead of that, I’d rather put my money in dollars… at least that way , I’d retain its worth, while still earning some yearly returns 5 Likes |

I will advise you not to put that money on any business cus most businesses in Nigeria don't give good returns. Go and open piggvest and deposit the money there. Their annual return is 18 percent Meaning every day you will be getting 75k as interest. They are safe and secure, you can do proper research yourself and thank me later. |

AmgAmg: Bro, don’t waste your money, it’s better to buy landed properties, you could buy land that you can be selling for estate later, On that land, while it’s not in use, you can plant tree crops that you will not really use money to manage and in 2 to 3 years, it will yield. Tree crops has less maintenance. You could go into importation of goods into Nigeria, in fact the money is too much for that. Just study it very well before doing it. Because their a lot of disappointment there. Though their are still hopes and huge income there. A good can give you 200 percent return of your capital in 2 months. It’s not all goods but some goods can. I knew this base on research. Because putting such amount into anything non physical is very risky. |

If you don’t have a business plan already then putting it into business is gambling. If you must put it in business, work with an experienced hand. there are profitable businesses in Nigeria. I import lights from China and see 30-40 profit per shipment. Otherwise invest in mutual funds at 22% yearly ROI. Don’t chase high profits, Chase capital preservation
