You can decide not to pay him and he will look for another church that needs his services, it’s not that hard. That singer has bills to pay and responsibilities to take care of. it doesn't, i use to tell a friend of mine then who played keyboard and base for churches, on a Sunday he would move from one church to the other when there's break between them.....i would tell him that he actually doesn't go to church....he goes there for payment.
In reality, if everyone in the church start asking for pay, who would pay them, is it the cleaner, security, drummer, sound engineers.....in fact they are numerous.
